thoughts on male and girl char

do you think you should have to be a male irl to be male char in game and a female irl to be a female char in game if not then why do they ask you if you are a male female when you sign up your account for the game i personally think it should be whatever gender you chose when you signed up like ragnarok beacuse theres just too many wierdos that make girl chars even there males just to get kicks out of it or free money also if a marrige system gets implemented in this game just like every other mmo witch im sure there will be then wouldnt you feel wierd if you hanged out with some guy who had a girl char but acted as a girl and duped you into marrying him in game just to say after wards ha im a guy you loser

Wow, I figured games like Second Life would have that, but battle MMO's actually have that? That's just crazy anyways.

Hippy, yeah, many mmorpgs these days have marriage systems. It's just a little extra they give. Just like many games have fishing and such.

Well, they often also give some bonuses to married people like when they're in a party. Or that they can warp towards each other or something like it.

no because some people make background stories for their Characters and do Fanfic out of it .Besides do you really think limiting ones creative options is a good thing ? i think not . You seem to think all guys that make girl characters are "Wierdos" i can tell you right now thats not the case.Perhaps you think girl characters should be weaker as well? the reason they ask sex at sign up is for demographics all game companies do it .

I have a Male char[Rouge] and a Female char[Fighter].....
I just think Female chars are better, they look so awesome, so cute..but i dont use them as my main so people dont think that i am a girl IRL.

It would be annoying to make another account to be Female.
And dont think about Marriage already, it might take time till they add this feature (not sure they'll add it anyway)

If you think about it...Who's really going to stop either gender from picking their opposites gender characters? o_O

I certaintly don't have a problem with people who do. It's their prerogative. :cool:

I was in a party with all guys last night and they all just assumed I was a guy playing a female character. >______> Well, with the exception of one party member because he already knew I was a girl. XD

I don't think it makes someone a weirdo for picking a character of the opposite gender. It's possible the gender is better in a class they want to choose, or just look better than their own. I've met many guys who play as girl characters in games and they didn't do anything you described. Usually if they're getting hit on they let you know they're a guy right from the get-go. I guess it really depends how they are acting when they play the opposite gender, but I don't see it as a problem.

I agree, Im not gay or a weirdo but I like playing girl charters because people are normaly nice to you if you are nice to them and I like to see a girl kick *** for once in a adventure story. I play MMOs cus they make for great a creative outlet for my writeing so I can develope a charter based on my charter in the game!

I like this thread better then the other one about guys playing girls.
I like playing the girl characters because the models are cuter, and the hair styles offered usually has one that's more true to how I have my hair.
Now, granted, I'm sure some people are probably nicer to me because I'm playing a girl but I'm usually not offered anything for free, usually I'm giving away things.
The marrage thing is funny. I thought it was just an RP thing people would do not an actaully system effecting thing.
