Hey everyone, even though I am new to Fiesta Online I have still put 20 plus hours into it. And after that much time, and fighting the same monsters over and over and doing the same things, I'm getting a little bored. And most of the quests I'm on right now, I can't do alone, and I can't find anyone to help me. Quests such as killing Mara, and defeating 2 Boogy Knights. Which for a level 17 mage, is pretty damn hard to do alone. I'm also getting tired of the grinding. I feel like thats all I'm doing. And at level 17, even though its a low level, it still takes a long time to level up.
When you need 5500 EXP (round about amount.) you have to kill around 220 monsters....And thats if your getting 25 EXP from each kill. Which for me, means that I have to kill such things as Mara Pirate Elites. And the most I've ever killed without dying, is about 10. Yes, I keep an eye on my health and such. But I usually wind up dying somehow after I beat about 5 or 6 elites. If that.
And I'm not killing 550 Boars, or Ratmen just to level up once. Not to mention the fact that it would take about 7 hours to kill that many.
So, with all that being said, I need some things to do. Either things that will help me level up faster, ways that are fun to gain EXP (so even if I do have to play for hours to level up, its not a big deal.) or just random fun things to do.
Also, where are they Abyss? I heard that its a good place to gather Summoned Beast Leather (LQ), and one of my characters is a scroll maker so I really need that leather. And I know about the PvP stuff, but I thought I would check it out, it'll give me something to do.
P.S. If anyone wishes it help with those two quests listed, it would be much appreciated. I'm on the Teva server.
One more thing. >.< Sorry, I know you thought that it was over. But whats the best server? I love Teva, but I also heard that one server is full of dance parties and stuff, so what server is the most fun, and why do you think its the most fun?

I agree..1-25 = so slow..But then...25-36 you shoot...and then the slump returns, 36-42 hard slog, and then you shoot again =D
Abyss is basically a place where the mobs are slighty stronger, have more xp, but give like 3x more XP then normal mobs...But you can also be Pked..

hmmm... some quick leveling suggestions:
~join an active academy: this will be a huge help for getting those boss quests done
~KQ, KQ, & KQ: at your level Mara's Rage KQ is great exp every other hour, if you're quick you should be able to get two in every round = 4.4k in 1 hour or so (2 kqs).
~quest parties + scrolls: use scrolls!! the highest teir you can, T2 vit & def really help through level 20s, T3 after lvl 30. Scroll up and then go duo your quests, you shouldnt have to grind exp until level 40 something (is it 46 now... idk they added a bunch of quests).
and if all else fails, please remember that this is in fact a game- if it stops being entertaining stop immediately! Putting yourself through no-fun grinding will only feed an unhealthy addiction (seriously).
ALSO!! SBL lq doesn't really drop in the abyss, you get those most early on from ratmen... but vending for them over night is the most efficient way to get those.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the tips. I know this is a noob question, but how do you get into quest parties, and stuff? (The KQ i know how to get into.) As far as the guild, it seems like every time I sign in, I'm not in the academy I joined the night before. I know about using higher ranking academies to get better rewards, so I usually bounce around from Loveless, Shameless, and Collision. But I never see a lot of guild members online, none that I party with anyway. Honestly, I've only been in about 2 parties since I started playing.
As far as the Abyss and SBL lq, someone told me that the abyss is a good place to get it, so I thought I would try that. But if its not that plentiful there, then I'll stick with Ratmen. I also heard that Little Lizardmen are a good place to get it too, but I'm not quit up to them yet. (I tried earlier. I can kill them, but I have about 10 HP left.) Is that true? I fought 5 or 6, and got 2 SBL, which seems to be about the same drop rate as the Ratmen, and those I can easily handle.
Something I've been wondering about vending, can you set a price per item? I don't want to vend over night, and get ripped off by everyone I buy from. And what would be a good price for it? I can get 50 for a little over 3S in Elderin, from an item merchant. So if I'm just gonna wind up paying the same thing, I'd rather just buy some from her all at once, instead of vending for 8 hours.

Please compared to back in the start u guys have it alot easier when i was 17 i couldn't go into abyss or anything. Their weren't even Academy's and guilds please lvl 17 would never get in. We had no choice but to grind and shout for parties and maybe get one if u were lucky.
As for money just suck it up.
Making money is like anything in life it takes time! If u get a green weapon drop with great stats ur not going to npc it for a low price u can vend it and get 3-10s for one item. Normal drops like dusts, meat, skin, etc... sell them to purchase shops first if u can find any buying ur good then sell them to npc. At your level u dont need much money.
If ur complaining now ur going to be very angered at 69 when u need 11k exp which needs to be acquired mostly by grinding.

Definitely (as mentioned before) work on the Kingdom Quests. You can reach level 20 rather quickly by just working on KQs. Either that or I just love the early KQs so much XD
anyway, you haven't seen slow leveling as a low level until you've played as a cleric with an END build u.u It takes so long to kill when soloing

I don't think levelling up is that tough in the early stages. I did tons of kingdom quests (Kingdom slime 'cause it is easy, Mara 'cause it is fun), and lotsa repeatable quests. Or maybe... I just have more patience. (I am a hybrid cleric. XD)
I think the pain will start coming in post-40s. @_@ (Especially since you get lesser quests.)
And yes, partying is hella important. I'm a cleric, so I kill slow, but when partied with a mage and archer... XD We thrash like 7-8 monsters every round.
I only play in Teva, so not too sure about the others. You are free to find me if you need help. :D (What's your IGN?)

I lvld really quickly on my cleric and fighter in the early lvls, mostly doing slime kq then mara. But i hated doing them on my archer and mage because i was pretty squishy and couldnt kill much lol.So i lvld slower on the mage and arcer because i avoided kq!

Hmm, suggestion: Try another class if being a mage is kind of boring. Maybe you'd rather be a cleric or you'd prefer the archer or fighter. I'm still figuring out which class I prefer.

If you need help with the game, you can visit SparkOnline (http://fiesta.sparkonline.net) and take a look at the guides. Give suggestions if you'd like in the forums as well :)
There's lots to do in the game....Kingdom Quests, Guilding, Quests, item enhancement, merchanting, the abysses, and just exploring places.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I think I'll try the Slime Kingdom quest on my Archer, and the Mara quest on my Mage. I never tried KQ, at first I didn't know how to get into one, and now I just can't find one thats coming up. All the one's that are recruiting, are like 5 hours away or something. But I'll keep looking into them, and I'll try partying too.
Also, my IGN is Nightmare818 for my Mage, which is my main, and my Archer is magicalarcher. Which is coming out to be my second main, all of my characters are on Teva.
