How can I check the map grid?

If you mean the one in game that shows the map you're currently on, you can press M to open the map and click the little grid button on the top right of the map.

yes, what the person below me said,,,,but i had a funny glitch earlier, i would hit "M" and the world map would show up small like the map does, and it had the grid on it XD only happened like 3 times, then it stopped.
but it was cool to see where in Isya my fellow party members where at XD

yeah you uh...hit the botton that says grid on the map...lol
