"Spring is Coming!" Haiku Contest

Welcome Everyone to the Forum MVP event!!
It’s that time of the year when the Sakura, also known as the Cherry Blossoms, start to bloom!
Spring is right around the corner.
So, guess what guys and girls, it’s time to be creative with your words and create a Haiku!
You can also take a screenshot of the place that gave you inspiration (e.g. Uruga).


What we’re looking for:
-A Haiku is designed to be simple so keep it simple.
-1st line has Five Syllables
-2nd line has Seven Syllables
-3rd line has Five Syllables
-Be Creative!
-We will be judging on how creative,
and how well you stick to the Haiku rules.

Rules:
* 2 entries per person
* Posting on other threads will not count
* Does not violate Terms of Service (http://www.outspark.com/legal/)
* Lastly, do not plagiarize.

Please post your entries here as images.
Entries posted on other threads will not count.

Okay this is my first time writing a haiku x.x I never wrote one in my whole life because I didn't understand how to etc. I hope I got this right D: I'm also bad at the subject English xD (not the language). So idk if I got the syllables right :o correct me if I did anything wrong D:

It doesn't really only have to do with the language though but with the sound; feel the sound of the word ^^ The way it bends kind of :P like beach => its one whole chunk. powerful => pow-er-ful. It has three different accents to the word. It normally has to do with the positioning of the vowels. You'll tell though how much syllables there are, it's normally quite easy to feel them. Sorry if my explanation isn't really good, but I'm not really sure about accents of letters and stuff. I hope it helps you a bit.

Df, you could always give it ago. Nekopon has been very kind enough to go through every single entry so far and has even corrected those which were wrong. So just in case you do the syllables wrong she will help you out and give you chance to re-do it ^^

Just something i felt like saying and felt at the moment, though i had some others that i don't know, seemed a bit better to me. Hi I found this. I don't know how reliable it is but it seems good. It's a syllable counter, so if you're unsure about a word, just put it in the box and it will calulate the syllables for you.

If you can make the lines out for me, it'd be great. Because right now,
the syllables are 7, 5, 5 instead of a Haiku's 5, 7, 5. Perhaps you can switch words around? :D

^ Yes, "We're" is one. "We are" is two. That's easily fixable.
I'll let your entry slide with "determined". It sounds like 3 to me.
But it could be 4... doesn't matter. I'm the judge. :p

Haikus are easier in Japanese than English, apparently.
Sounds are not as vague.

^ You picture doesn't automatically "fit to page" on the forums.
You'll have to shrink it manually in a art program yourself.
But I can read it so you don't have to correct it if you don't want it. :]

lol, very true ^^ sometimes people just stop next to me and I'll know what they want, so I try to buff them before they have a chance to ask for a buff. That way I won't have to deal with people who are rude. If I buff them before they ask, I'll never have to know if they were going to be rude or not ^^

Actually, I'm not sure at all.

I always thought "sakura" could be used in both the singular and plural sense of the word. (Like "fish")

I'll wait for a GM to tell me otherwise before I change it, just to be safe.

I also know that sakura can be used for both plural and singular. Also japanese nouns don't have a plural or singular, they usually get the amount from the context.
