a noob question about DMG

Will a green +9 Lv. 80 xbow do more DMG than a blue +9 Lv. 70 xbow? Or should I just keep my Lv. 70 xbow til I can get a Lv. 85 +9 BK xbow? :confused:

Because it's blue, the 70 will outdamage the 80, and also have a better crit/aim/attk speed/etc.

At 85 however, I'd suggest you buy a BK xbow.

I got a KQ blue mace and a 80 hammer both +9. After road test, 80 hammer kill the same thing a little faster (one less hit)

The difference is huge, a hammer has 3x the attack.

Disclaimer: all data below was gathered from the fiesta fan wiki.

Pretty much I agree with Asmodejjj in principle: Due to it's faster attack and higher aim, the 70 Blue will outdamage all white and a good many green lvl 80 Xbows. End of story. Move on to the BK unless you are like me and want every damage point you can get from your weapon.

Lol. I was curious too so I did some digging around and this is what I discovered:

White label Xbow: (lvl 80)
Attack rate: 1.4
Aim: 362
Damage: 453_590
Crit rate: 6%
+9 bonus: 607
Max dmg: 1197

Guardian Master (Boss): (lvl 80)
Attack rate: 1.4 sec
Aim: 384
Damage: 490-635
Crit rate: 8%
+9 bonus: 607
Max dmg: 1242

Bellow Knight (lvl 85)
Attack rate: 1.4 sec
Aim: 604
Dmg: 611-795
Crit: 8%
+9 bonus: 702
Max dmg: 1497

Note: the damages listed above do not consider aim nor crit rate.

As you can see, the White NPC lvl 80 xbow more than equals the Blue in damage per hit, but not attack speed, aim, nor Crit rate.

... Attack speed is .1 second faster for the Blue. Maybe that is significant. Maybe not if you're a Kiting fiend. However on the bigger picture, nobody said which green 80 X bow..:) Since most Blues available have negligible bonus stats, if you find a green with the right bonus stats it will have as good of damage and aim, AND it will enhance to +9 for 93 additional points higher(+607) than the 70 blue(only +514). If you are lucky and get a guardian master boss weapon, it will have 6 pts. higher aim and 38 pts. higher base damage to start with. So with great bonus stats(up to 5 categories), the lvl 80 BOSS Xbow clearly pulls ahead. The only decision for you is weather the extra damage @ +9 on the Guardian Master bow is worth more than the 2% extra crit rate of the 70 blue(2 in 100 hits are doubled). For me the extra 200 damage points possible per hit is worth losing 2% crit rate. Also worth considering: is the cost of enhancing another weapon really worth it, or just use the Blue till lvl 85?;) Or can you sell the Blue to pay for a Boss green?

Also note: Fighter weapons are the only ones I can confirm that the blues enhance better than the others.


On to BK weapons:
Yup. BK's are KILLERS and don't need bonus stats which, btw, are worth less at lvl 80 than they were at lvl 10 anyway because their value raises at half the rate of our level, while our damage grows much faster than our level so we get back from bonus stats a lower percentage of our damage, defense, evasion, magic def....
BUT WAIT, THAT'S NOT ALL!!...lol, the higher damage is going to cost you alot more. Because the 85 BK's start the next tier of enhancing stones and "proof" stones (red/blue cash shop) , it's going to be more expensive to enhance than the other weapons(but well worth it IMHO).

Summary:
Damage over time (D.O.T.) 10 sec. on auto attack (does NOT include special attacks)
Shylp (70 blue): 1107(max dmg) x 7.9(hits in 10 sec.) = 8745.3
80 Boss: 1242(max dmg) x 7.14(hits in 10 sec.) = 8867.88
BK (lvl 85) 1497 x 7.14 = 10688.58
