What to do with an unused purple from a KQ?

Since I got a purple boot from PvP KQ even though I already have one, I wanted to trade it to someone. Only one problem: I can't. The only thing I can do is to NPC it or destroy it. But why would I wan't to NPC a purple? Isn't there anything else I can do with it that's worth something? Thanks to anyone who replies. ^^

If you can't trade it, I'm fairly certain you can't NPC it. I'm not too sure about the reward set items; I don't do PvP KQ, so I've never gotten a set item bound to me.

If you have loads of free space in your inventory, you could keep it in the hopes they someday enable trading of KQ reward set items.

Lol I'll actually try to npc it. If not, then I might as well destory it. =\

You can't NPC it. Blue armor obtained from PvP KQ is bound to your character so you can either wear it or destroy it. This is so that blue gear wont become so incredibly common that everyone and their mother has one. Also, these PvP blue armor effects wont work with the corresponding blue armors found outside of PvP KQ.

Sort of off topic but:
These armors that everyone is refering to as "purple" are in fact BLUE!! Purple items are premium

The color on these armors are a slightly darker blue than weapons but are still blue...
