I know that Steam is sick today, but for ****'s sake, he's not the only GM we have, so why is this sort of **** happening in broad daylight at a peak hour? Is he even going to get punished for spamming so much? They're probably just going to let him run rampant.

This is probably a recurring suggestion, but.. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR TO GIVE US AN /IGNORE COMMAND? Or better yet, how about naming semi-GMs who have the power to mute people? Of course their actions would be 100% logged, so the actual GMs can keep an eye on anyone abusing this power, but ****, the more this game is progressing, the more such players are appearing.

How about some actual EFFORT to keep it clean and enjoyable?

Hey, at least we can SEE the GMs, unlike other games. Also, since when can one GM monitor the entire world? I agree with you that there should be more GMs, but is it cost-effective to actually put that plan into effect? Is it worth the extra money to hire more GMs for a BETA???

I know the GMs bring down the hammer. The first conversation I ever had with a GM was with [GM]Steam; I told about a person whose shop title said "70C Scroll!", but inside the scroll was 1S 70C. I was a newb at the time who had never vendored before, so I asked him if that was an honest mistake or the seller was trying to rip people off. He kicked the guy out of the game within a minute. If GMs will kick out people who are lying in their shop title, will they not strike goldsellers with that much more vengenace?

Why don't you PM GM_Steam about it in the forums? As long as you're polite, he'd probably answer your question directly and honestly. ^^

It seems that these days the amount of players who log on only to grief others and be jerks is doubling and tripling almost daily, and I always seem to log in right in the middle of this stuff. This isn't really a report, I just wanted to show that in the pursuit of these titles people tend to abuse the system by: telling everyone to add them as a friend, instructing newbies to right click their name and select add, or spamming:

I actually felt sorry for the guy after all was said and done. He really seemed to have learned his lesson and was actually pretty reasonable by not cussing at us and he did leave to go to the cave. I did feel bad though when, after he left, I suddenly remembered that 1 in 50 players glitch within Echo Cave.

They might come out with something like a gm but its like players do it for free and dont have the same powers. but anyway theres is usually 1-5 spammers a day per town. And noone spamms in uruga or any place else besides the caves

And by the way, research your facts. It doesn't take a bot to repeat something quickly. Just open the chat log and press on the down arrow and voila. Your last message is there. Click enter again and bam.

I doubt you'd go spying on your Guild members, they'd be the last ones you'd suspect of any wrongdoing.

hey, did anyone see the announcement from CSR Cretz yesterday? I was in moonlight tomb and i didn't hear the regular tone before the announcement and he was saying that we should take screenshots of spammers and post them on the forum. i was looking at the chatbox to see if anyone was responding to him and i don't think anyone realized he was making an announcement.

I think it's fine to do this in extremely isolated fields because frankly, the title exists for a reason-- no one is going to shout 1000 times in two hours under normal circumstances unless they're spamming. As such, I think the acceptable areas are places like:

Echo Cave
Marlone Hideout
Graveyard of the Dead
(Other boss-specific, low-pop dungeon goes here)

It is also possible to go into a KQ with 0 people (like Millenium Robo) and get about 10 minutes (counting the death timers and such) of spamming in without disturbing anyway.

But seriously. Cities and hunting fields are -not- the place for this.

ya a feel titles are just plain dumb and are more Shame than good i say if they get the super annoying ones like spam king caps king it should be on them permantly so we can see them, and think i remaber that loud mouth

Finally, it's just like a reward. This title exists, some people want to have it so they shout and shout... spam... If it didn't exist, there would be less useless spam like that (okay, but bots will keep on working to shout). Shouting so much in this limited time is not even "possible" if you want to communicate with other people to help them (and whispers exist...).

Last time, people were shouting in Uruga to get this (useless) title. And their answer was : "If we bother you, just filter shouts." Do you think it's normal ?

So what is the interest of this title ? Why did it exist ? I only see disadvantages...
