Don't you think its kind of hard to tell!? boy or girl?

Hello,

Its me yoko and i just wanted to put a question across. Its kind of hard to tell who is a girl and boy? @.@ I mean ok not the best graphics(I'm fine with them) but its just kind of hard. I pissed off alot of girls already thinking they were boys. Some times you can tell right away if its a girl or a boy but some times......its not so easy. That might be somthing to work on.

Ps. I just learn boys and girls do sit differently. Guess thats a way to tell but then that means i'll just have to ask the person to sit to know if its a she or he lol. Also i guess you can ask them but still..may want to work on that.

Lol, I can say some of my friends would want that for sure >.< You try to look at afew characters and pick if there a boy or girl >.> Lets see how many you get wrong. I'm telling you with hair changes, items, and other things it gets hard some times speically noobsh people. I do have to give up yes its kind of easy some times with outfits, hair, or how they chat but still it gets hard some times

I voted no, but I don't think that gender (as SoS won't let me say the other word I'll keep it off the forums) should matter when playing the game. Treat everyone equally. But that's just my style of play. ^_^

Aha.. I know what you mean. I've been confused for THE longest time. >_> But then I looked at the job class sprites. There are distinctive colors for male and female. Like for instance, Fighter class. Males = Blue. Females = Pink.

I don't think the game graphics dictacts whose a guy or girl. Frankly, I'll say 99% of gamers are guys. You'll never know whose behind the mask now do you?

I dont see why you have a hard time deciding whos girl or guy. Do you have a hard time in real life too? I mean I could tell right away soon as I started playing whos guys or girls... come on people its not that hard.

I can kinda' see what your saying...
Yesterday I was partying and some guy in the party goes "Where are all the girls?" Of course the usualy comments happen like "Hiding from you!"
I then break the Mould with "I have a female character if you want to talk to her"
This though, led to our Humble Mage, saying that she was a Girl, which I happened noticed, in fact, none of us had...Weird

Well if they're wearing special items (eg. panda/bear outfits) then you can't tell anyway.

I have to admit that for Mages and Fighters below lev 30 it is a little difficult to tell sometimes unless you are looking directly at them.
I don't use the pants with my Mage or Fighter characters because I don't like the way they look.
Pants on a Female Mage look terrible and remind me of Fat Pants and are not very attractive at all, I much prefer the default skirt.
But at higher levels the Females Mages get the "Bikini" which looks super sexy.
For Archers and Clerics it is very obvious which is Male and which is Female, if you are having trouble telling the difference there then you are beyond help.
However when you get to lev 40 with the Female Clerics they do start to look the same as the Male Clerics and it becomes difficult to tell at a distance.

mostly the two genders sit differently. It's not really that hard to tell them apart. Now figuring out whether the person playing them is male or female...that's the real tricky one.

Anyway, back to the topic, male and female chars usually have quite a few (or at least one) things that tell them apart, like the hair, the clothes (I don’t think a male sprite will use a skirt or a bikini) and the colors (pink, probably a girl). Of course, it's also just a matter of getting used to the sprites.
