Agreed, in a previous post somewhere in this forum, Silky said there was an order to the things that were going to be released... the event is called Angels and Demons, and the player is asked to choose a side... and we all know those dark wings exist, not to mention the horns... so I'm sure they'll release something for demons (muahaha, I'll be on that side >:D).

Then of course, there's the story about Fionna... so I'm sure something in-game will be added, not just cs items. Let's have a little patience and pass judgement when the event is over.

GM_Snappo posted previously that the A&D event is not the cap raise, and that it will come sometime after A&D. They have also stated that they are working on locating the source of the .bin error in order to fix it.

Neither of those is related to the A&D event, should you like to discuss them, please take it to the appropriate thread. :)

I don't recall any OS staff ever implying that massive things were going to instantly happen at the end of the countdown today, so I don't know what there is to be disappointed about. I suspect -- or perhaps I should say I hope -- that the whole Angels and Demons thing is going to be a longer-term event/story-arc, and that the release of the angel set is only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. Of course, that's assuming the iceberg will consist of actual new game content along with the inevitable CS stuff...

Currently, Fiesta is following the economy... A sudden decline, with lots of government spending that don't seem to do anything at all. I KNOW that the people that work at Outspark are intellegent people, I'm sure of it. But in all honesty, with all of the current negativity within the game and forums, how many more negative blows can we be expected to take before we all just get up and leave? If there is going to be more fun exciting stuff, it'd be nice for some reassurance to keep us playing, and paying.

I love the countdown, they hyped it up like it was something big and all of a sudden its like you can buy now for almost $10. They said the countdown was to the event, but I didn't see an event. They posted other dates to events, will those date change into other dates? Anyway i waited for the countdown just to realize i cant make the date they put the (supposed event) in there.

Possibly you know where this is going to end up Terran, but we the users of the game dont. Look at the poll results, 84% of the people who responded were unhappy with how this was handled.

Yes we fully understand Fiesta is a business but put yourself in our place. For a week we checked on that clock even though we knew it would finish on maintenance day. Through all the exp lost, scrolls lost, time lost during this past week of massive fiesta.bin errors and random dc's from the game, that clock was like a shining light of hope that something exciting was coming.

The hour arrived and what did we get? An advertisement to buy spark cash items. I am sure the game promoters can tell from the lack of sales of the Angel outfit that their customers are not happy. Whoopie doo they are going to have an event in Elderine and they warn that vendors will be killed. So basically it is going to be the same old thing, bosses will be spawned and at the end of it treasure chests full of T1 and T2 items will be dropped.

Next week we repeat the process with the Devil set and the same events and treasure chests full of items of little use to any of us. Then we have the big finale which from the sound of it will be the Angels fighting the Devils in an all out lag fest.... errmm battle.

Now this event could well END up being a lot of fun I dont dispute that, but come on, you have to admit for all the hype we do have a right to be disappointed. My disappointment starts right with the Angel outfit itself, I am a full END party cleric who rarely ever hits anything so Crit is absolutely useless to me. What benefit do I get spending nearly $20 Australian dollars on an outfit that is useless to me. Maybe if I had the option to purchase a *defense* set I might be interested.

one would think so, its up a GM what thread they post on is up to them what threads they will close ect. whether we find there response constructive or not ( i will say i find alot of responses not very constructive at all )

I'm going to tell you all a story (May seem pointless at first, but I will explain).

Recently, the Prime minister of China (Or king, w/e not sure). Held a conference with the US president. The topic of this meeting was about all of the Chinese money being loaned to the US in order to help the US get back on it's feet. The Prime minister was asking the president if the money was being spent well to help the economy, because as he could tell all of the money was being wasted, and things were getting worse. The president then assured the Chinese that the money was being well used, or the Chinese would stop investing.

I find this situation very similar to ours currently. The community is spending lots of money hoping that their investment will be returned to benefit them. But as we all are seeing, things are just getting worse. The only difference in the situation is that we can't all simply call Outspark and see how our money is being used, Outspark chooses to answer however they want. Outspark, will there be any reassurance of well spent money? Or should we come down to San Fransisco and ask you ourselves? :P.
