i was thinking how hard would it be to make a program that if spam same massage more than 15 times in 30 min it can auto lock you as a spammer NOTE i said SAME message this stop spammers let players read real game text not just spammers

i think it make gm jobs easer make spamming stop over night

and this cut back on lag

and make game more enjoyable

maybe as well add more KQ and every 1 min appart this way more players can join in and play i think doubble what you have now would be good

Hm, good start but there are problems as well with the autolock idea. How to tread people whose vocabular is limited to 'lol and 'rofl'? Also, why would that stop spamming? From what i see now already is that many spammers have a pattern like 'Buy gold as some.url [RANDOM BOGUS]"

About the KQs - there have been some ideas (some of me as well), but you have to find a balance. KQs are and should stay rare for they are heavily rewarded, so just adding more KQs is not an option. Sorry

How about, some select users are granted the ability to ban 1 person a day. Everytime there is a ban, the GM must be emailed about the ban, the user, the behaviour, and including the screenshot, and the reason why the person deserves a ban.

If the ban is abused (used to ban others for the fun of it or for personal gain), the user will suffer ban as well (or character deletion, or some other nasty punishment).

Now depends whether thats easily implemented or not... or if the GM/Dev team thinks this is a good idea or not.

Yes its easy to abuse, but I'm sure there are people out there in the server who would do things for the good of the server.

About KQ.. heavily rewarded... I wish I could say the same.. with a few empty boxes... and 3 Heal[1] and / or 3 Heal[2] ....

Empty boxes are/were a box.. the other thing is interestering. Back at Ultima Online we had these kind of Sheriffes - called 'Seers' they had very limited GM functions like Muting and kicking.. that IS an interestering idea. I would love to hear some staff opinion about it

well way i see it =if players spamming 100 + in 30 min 15 messages bound be same so i think auto lock would work

secound on load in screen it should advertise this so they know they end up getting locked out right away so they stop trying

as for the kq i get into it every time it on got fast fingure,s hehe reloging before kq helps but so many don,t get chance and rewards are not that good for time put into it i find anyways

only few times got good items but i,d have keep making low lvl characters get top items i want considering i get in every time lol

so because not good item each time spend lots time trying get in i think should be more slots avalible but hey thats my thoughts you do kq to much and you lose out on fame from other quests

i think that the ban for a "seer" should only be about 5-10 minutes and player is alowd back in the game... most likely if it is a REAL spamer they will be workng on making a new char by then and if its just a player then the report the "seer" will fill out sould determin if player should be banned for good or not.
