I think it has to do with your demographics? If you hit certain items (age, gender, etc.) when you sign up maybe it lets you in the closed beta test.

same thing as me registered and started playing a few minutes afterwards i love this game alot and have only been playing for two days

I didn't realize this was a closed beta, so I thought it was normal that I got in instantly. >w<

I would guess it does have to do with demographics. They probobly want to make sure all age groups and genders test the game, to make it as diversely appealing as possible.

I'm just happy because it reminds me alot of Ragnarok. c:

Oh, so it's not just me? I stopped playing because, as soon as I realized what a Closed Beta was, I thought maybe I had somehow gotten into something I wasn't supposed to. But if there are others, then hey, cool, it must be fine, and I have another way to procrastinate on packing! Though I really shouldn't be, since I'm moving in two days, and I still have a lot to pack. Why do I have so much crap?

Of course, this also means I have a new way to procrastinate on NaNoWriMo. FFXII was bad enough last year. I am never going to be able to make the 50k mark, am I?
