Idea for vendoring

this idea is might be a rip off some game but here it is.

why do we need a huge file like fiesta when you are just vendoring. we really dont need all the map of the game. we just need uruga, eld and romoun at the moment.
why cant they make 2 game. the full version and the vendoring version that just has the basics of the basics.
then why not let us be able to open multiples vendor version for your alt account on the same computer. i dont like having multiples running in my house taking up the power. it would be easier if it was just one computer running like 3 account selling my stuff.

ummm.....how bout not?? that would take way too much time for oos to do and it seems just pointless to do anyway. what they need to do is make an auction house of some sort, no vendoring and little lag in towns.

I actually don't think there's any problem with the way it's set up now, and I'm not sure why so many players think it's not working (unless they have junky computers that lag in town). The way it is now, people have to invest time (or their computer being on for extended periods of time) to make vendoring worthwhile. If it was easier more people would do it, and prices would be driven down. It's balanced right now.

From a purchaser's stand-point, I also enjoy browsing shops. I really hate haggling, and while an auction function might be a nice addition, I wouldn't want it to replace the shroom shops. I've never purchased anything from anyone shouting what they are selling (even worse is a random trade request), but I've purchased a ton of things from shrooms while browsing for a good bargain - with nothing in mind to purchase.

TBH they could easily set up a "Sellers board" in Storage for instance where you could list what was for sale and let people /w you to haggle about price.

Kind of like the ads you see in a newsagents window!

I quite like the shroom selling. It's unique, novel and fun to boot. As for lag I seem to get it more round concentrations of people rather than shrooms such as storage or during events. I'd be all for an auction house though. But don't take away our shrooms:)

i have problems vendoring i cant vendor for more than an hour at a time so i npc or end up giving away godlys (dont know why)
but when im playing my characters the lag is horrendous and getting around is a pain, cant get round em with out clicking on one, so i end up going on hide mode ><
iv seen some vendors in the same place 3 days (taking it abit too far)
i think far too many vendors vend for rediculous amounts of time (im not saying all but most) and it clogs up the servers. And it drives me mad. play all day vend all night what a luxury i wish i had

Why can't you just leave your computer on all night? I set up shop b4 going to bed and check it in the morning b4 work. It works for me....

I dont know if this has been said yet but perhaps some sort of trading system where you can skim through a list of people selling things (This would have to be some bank of some sort) and the seller can deposit the item they want to sell into the storage and if a buyer comes along and they have the right amount of money they can take it out of the storage for the price the buyer set it for and the buyer and seller wins and the buyer wouldn't have to be online at all and they can get the money from their storage if they found a seller.

This would massively trim down the lag in the towns but I don't know exactly if the server could handle it if it could it would be a great idea.

i thinks a great idea however maybe for in the future, cause there would be a problem with space ect if you know what i mean

i cant because my mom makes me turn my laptop off before i go to bed and its really not worth spending tons of energy
