I'm pretty sure that potentially libelous threads such as this are against the rules. If not they should be. This kind of thing is DEFINATELY not cool.

Also, although clerics heal by nature, and it is generally accepted that they SHOULD heal people; it IS their own personal character, they dont HAVE to heal you....If a cleric wants to fight let them, it's not your business
You should be able to heal yourself sometimes.

as for leaving, you cant EVER gte mad about that. you never know, their internet connection might have dropped

melee cleric rock socks, i love to melee and heal i played a Shamen on Wow on here i heal in KQ and bash a random run away mobs about it

The only melee i've ever had problems with for shaman was their Totem that gave em 2 extra hits. My paladin almost felt their attacks. But, you know shaman, they like to tickle you. Especially when you're wearing plate =P

And yes, in this game, while normally that's a cleric's job in a group is to heal and protect, maybe the way they've spec'd their character, they protect better by putting out big hits from empowering their bash's damage to the max. Putting a big hit out steals agro just as well as a big heal y'know. I would like to see you play a cleric and then determine what a "bad" cleric is. Until then, your comment has much less weight.

this game is designed for a single class to spec differently... even though i am a cleric and i love to heal, i dont say clerics who melee more are bad. supposed that they're spec differently, or just have their own mind... u cant force a player to do a specific job all the time with 1 specific class.... potions are made for a purpose too, even though they're not nearly enough, it does help. i'm sorry if i am speaking like a noob, but if u can handle at least a *few* hits without dying... i'm sure any cleric (including me!) would love to support u to their limit.

I'm a cleric, and I main heal when in parties, that's why I decided to be a cleric, no matter what game I play, I like being the healing class, etc.

I'd recommend maybe talking to your cleric politely before you start asking them what healing duties they will be filling so you won't get there and have the nasty surprise of finding out they just wanna hit things over the head, which isn't what your group needs from their cleric.

But threads like this, if they even are allowed by the rules, are really mean and rude, one-sided and unfair. I realize it can be a pain to wrongfully lose a major fight in online games (Though I've yet to try KQ on this game, I have plenty of experience with this emotion in other games) but preparation is all you can do about it, and bullying people like this just isn't really fair.

I'm like you. My first character in any MMORPG will always be of a white mage class. I can heal other characters, other characters ask me to heal them; I can buff other characters, other characters ask me to buff them and I can revive other characters and other characters ask me to revive them. But of all the MMORPGs I've ever played Fiesta is the only one where other classes whine about the clerics and want them nerfed and I've been playing clerics for so long that the 'cleric' in me is very disappointed regarding that aspect of this community.

I'm not that upset about the 'REV / HEAL / BUFF PLZ'. I get that in most of the games I play it's the 'OMG, clerics are too overpowered' that rubs me the wrong way.

In other games, the white mages need to solo too, Fiesta is no different so why should clerics get the short end of the stick?

1)Lubu ur not even fit for tanking Robo.

2)Also, just because clercs could not heal and as well, it is unncessary to post it here and make a big fuss about it.

I don't like the clerics who only heal themselves and not the other people, even their party members. I have a cleric but I heal most of the members (not just o****ing my party) and keep checking them so we don't have many casualties near the end.

I dont like the fact that as a Cleric the is main heal for Mara KQ the treasure box reward I recieve is almost always empty...
Honestly I heal people no matter what their ability to tank is and often that has cost me dearly.

a cleric's duty is not specifically to heal everyone when they are low, they are supposed to participate in any way they can

and besides, if they don't revive you, does that make them a bad cleric? no.

when i was like level 5 or 6, i kept dieing super quick on ks kq because i was still trying to figure it out and didn't really understand the concept of partying yet


and in general, the ones that are just barely to the level requirement usually die the quickest in the first place
