Has anyone found an actual use for the command? So far, all I'm seeing it's there for the sake of being there.

It'd be neat if there were like, enemy attacks where you need to jump to avoid (EARTHQUAKE!). Or if you could jump on a higher ledge to get somewhere.

not sure what it does but when i am running from mobs when i jump i get hit less or get more blocks

Nah just Jump is cool, when the game Guild wars came out the biggist cry on forums was no jump!@

It'd be decent if you could actually jump over obstacles that you can't walk over, such as low walls in town and such.

I'm guessing the jump command was stolen from WoW. I haven't found a purpose for it yet either, except when you want to jump over an enemy and quickly stab him in the backside. Now that's fun!

0.o WoW isn't the only game with a jump command. You can't exactly 'steal' something that's present in hundreds of other games.

I haven't found a use for it, other than to release the boredom of running. That and jumping at people when I find people I know :P

no idea was stolen from anyone, warhammer was out before Wow people say it stole wow stuff.. LOTR was outbefore internet same with D&D

I see a lot of people jumping when running along or running from a mob. I can't help but chuckle and think of the 'gain' from EverQuest one use to get in there for doing such. However in FO, it does nothing.

I found that I can't jump over fallen pillars or small rails or anything on the game...so as far as I know there is no use...wonder if they'll make it worth something.

I personally think the jump command could be used as a shortcut down stairs or something...
