I think there should be unique monsters that spawn at very low rates.. maybe in somewhat random areas. as well as "boss" monsters which require a team effort and have greater rewards. maybe they could be invovled in quests? they would have a higher AI.. would make things challenging and fun:cool:

I definitely agree, in many other notable mmorpg's they do this. It can be an interesting thing to have in the game, however what usually happens is a specific area is usually created where the creature will be. A certain maximum number of characters is allowed in this area at one time. So when you go into the area intending to kill the creature: if you go in and the maximum number is reached then nobody else is allowed in until the battle ends. However, some groups may go in and close the area off before the maximum number is reached so that they can fight as soon as they enter. Closing the area off in this way is obviously an option you can choose after entering. The only annoying thing about these special encounters is that what often happens is you end up with lines of groups forming who are all intending on taking on the same creature. Thus you end up spending an entire game session waiting in line just to get this one encounter. Probably the lines wouldn't be ridiculously huge while the game is still in cbt. However, once they release this game from cbt, it's likely that the player base would increase thus making lines for these creatures become annoyingly long just like in the aforementioned "notable mmorpg's".

There are SEVERAL boss / unique monsters in the game. The map's you have in CB, are about 1/100th of the total maps in the game.

There are also very tactical bosses, such as Boss Twins, that BOTH have to be killed at the same time.

This is what we know as a Kingdom Quest. :P
