Haven't you guys noticed that this is EXACTLY like Ragnarok? They just changed the names, places and monsters!! Somebody has to stop this!

Any MMORPG ever created is an exact copy of MIR.

They just changed the name/monsters/places.

There's only so much skills / stats / classes can do.

It isn't copying if u change the places names and monsters, its not really copying, u can only do so much in games, its not like, "*POOF* OMG its a absoulutly new game! there's nuttin like it!" thats not possible, practically everythings been done already, and if they did one if the things not done yet then that's only one thing, pretty boring game!

Yeah most people notice they are very alike. But don`t complain about it, if u hate SOS for having similar graphics. The GMs should have an answer to ur question.

All I gotta say about MMO's being copies of other games is that all MMO's are copies of MUD's...did you know ragnorock was a...MUD before it was ever an MMO? And it wasn't made by the makers of the MMO!!! They ripped them off~~~~!!!!! Them and every other MMO maker in the world...its a fact of life.

Um, no it's not.
First off, calm down. Second off, no one is forcing you to play it, so stfu and get over it. Third off, there will always be games like Ragnarok. Always. Some MMORPGS are 3D (look at TOP & Fiesta) and others are made wih pixels, including SOS and Ragnarok. Each MMORPG is still unique in their own way. So quit complaining.

I don't know if it's true or not, but i heard that Outspark bought the Ragnarok Game Engine to create this game. In my opinion, outspark made it alot better than ragnarok. If u dont think so...LEAVE >.>

Before mud's ever existed, there were Pen And Paper RPG's.

Show me 10 asimilarities of RO and SoS and no kiddie crap like - the graphics is alike or both have a stat system.

I've played RO since 1 year after it published up until like 2 months ago. Show me how is it a rip off?

This is just like saying Time Crisis is a copy of Duck Hunt because they both have light guns. There are only so many things you can do with a game, and only so much you can do with graphics and such. You can get technical all you want, but everything has been copied/modified from something else. Even the English language is nothing but a copy. Does that mean you aren't going to use that, or get mad about that?

I played RO from the beginning on, and I think there are a lot of similiars. But i'll lvl higher so see where the diffrents are.

It's not just graphics they copied everything. I hope they make this game better than RO was, I got kind of tired playing it.

If that were true, then the makers of RO could easily sue due to copyright and get this game taken off. So obviously, it isn't an exact copy.

So no-one did answer my post, show me 10 asimilarities, where atleast monsters look alike, the character sprites are different, the systems battle,pvp,skill systems are different, the movements are more complex, in other words, all RO and SoS have in comon is a 2D anime styled engine, and what makes you think theyr alike is the 1-st impresion, screenshots.

Yea The 3D graphics are a lot more crisp and detailed in SoS then RO. And I have yet to see a monster/class look-a-like. The only RO/SoS cross over item so far is a Mask one of my friends found out of a LB. I swear to *enter diety of choice here* that it's an exact replica of the "Gangster Mask" in RO.
