Someone already brought up this idea a while ago...
I think the community decided it would be more hassle than anything else.
Suzy might be "Suzy123" one day, "Tangerine" the next, then in an hour "Orange Suz"...really difficult and unncessary...
Just choose your names wisely and you can always restart a character. ;)

I can understand why people would want to make changes to their names. It isn't always because you make a BAD name choice.... for example... my main chars name is Hollimb, and I should have made it HolliMB, so people know to just call me Holli. :) But really... unless you are pretty high lvl already, its easier to just make a new char. You can get to lvl 40 in a day or two with a One Day boost book and some decent grinding.
