Check your spam mail/bulk email folder - it may have made it there accidentally.

I have a few suggestions that may help with receiving your validation email:

1. Double-check that your account information is accurate
2. Turn off any spam filters or firewalls that may be restricting the email being sent
3. Create a new account and use a different email address

Just out of curiousity, what email service are you using? If you're not using it already, make a quick account on yahoo and sign up with that new email, then be sure to check your junk too. I'm not sure why it would take that long for verification aside from the email service just not recieving the email.
