We have many writers from Apoline, and we all have our creative outlets. A long while ago, a fellow Apolinian made a thread for poets. That thread, now dead and un-organized, has fallen to its death.

But fear not! This thread is here to remember those posters and what they contributed. Alphabetically, that is. ^.^

(Don't you love OCD people like me? We make things easy for you to find poems and stuff...)

Each post will feature a past poster with original poems. So if you seek a certain person, they're alphabetical.

If you have a new poem you wish to bring to this place, please feel free to post. We welcome any and all original poems. ^.^

Thinking of You
A myriad of thoughts
My mind goes through
What am I thinking about
Baby you know it's you

Please tell me
Our love is not a delusion
Please tell me
Your face is not an illusion

Promise me you'll
Love me all my life
Promise me one day
You'll be my caring wife

Please tell me
There will be no obtrusion
Promise me for our
Love there is no substitution

Thinking of you
All day long
Imagining you
Singing our song

Never-ending
When our body dies
Does our love die too
When our soul is in the skies
Is our love sent through

Do you feel my love
Flowing through your heart
Coming from above
Knowing we're not apart

Another rung on the ladder
Attempting to stay above
Will you know forever
Of my never-ending love

On the day after
Can you feel our fear
Can you hear my laughter
Without shedding a tear

This message you see
This message I send
Is meant for us to be
My love for you won't end

Become One
Laying down while
My mind wanders into
A wilderness of thoughts

Love, passion, cliché phrases
All these are about you

I am lonely
Only longing to hold you
To feel you between my arms
As I curl up with you
And grasp you tightly

My thoughts continue day and night
Searching each day
Hoping, you are the one in my sight

Let this poet soar
And let his spirit fly
Into the open skies

Allow him to spread his heart
And one day
Become one
With
You

A Fallen Soldier

In Memory of Sergeant John Kyle Daggett

A man of his word
A hero of America
A soldier gone in a flash

This was not the life you imagined
When you were just a young child
Nor the life your parents
Meant for their son

The time when you and I met
Hurley shouting your name
From across the football field
Echoing off the buildings.

The last time we met,
Graduation 2005
I was in the stands watching
My fellow classmates rise above me.

Some went to college
Others went to work
But you went to give your life
To our country
For our freedom

Bullets flying
Ricocheting off of metal
Bombs falling from the skies
Shrapnel, flying
In every direction

This is the life if an American Hero
Who gave his life to us
This was the life of an American Hero
Who died so that we could live

Kyle died May 15th in Halifax, Canada. He was flown there after receiving a direct hit from an RPG on May 7th. A close personal friend of mine, paid the ultimate price to give us our freedom.

[ My Angel with Wings... ]
The eyes on your face are dead and blank
The sound of your voice is sad and dark
The tears in your eyes shatters my soul
The frown on your lips I can't control

Through the tough times you have faced
All alone you think times a waste
But you must know those thoughts aren't true
Cause when there's trouble I'll hold you through

I would love to turn that frown around
I would love to hear your beautiful sound
But for now from me you must know one thing
To me you're an angel, an angel with wings

Untitled
Sometimes I cry without you beside a maiden's hair
Sometimes I look out the window but you were never there
Sometimes I wait for you, to see if you would care
Sometimes I talk so fast I run out of air
Sometimes I wish I was a doctor to come to your repair
Sometimes I wish I was a therapist to answer your despair
Sometimes I wish I was God to answer your sulking prayers
Sometimes I lay here in your house but keep you unawares
Sometimes I wish you would love me, but forever you are mine to wear
Sometimes I come up to your bedroom, up the creaking stairs
Sometimes I lock the door and sit on your chair
Sometimes I brush your little locks of golden hair
Sometimes I see you wake and tell you not to scare
Sometimes I tell you not to scream but I push the pillow there
Sometimes I hold your body still while your body flares
Sometimes I sit beside you till the morning stares
Goodnight, sweet dreams, this is a love so rare.

Untitled
Can glisten or blur
Find its way through?
What is, if not, a little gloom
Far beyond my guilt still blooms,
But for you, my heart’s contempt,
Reaches out before my trench
As I pull into the roots I fall,
Drop into my well, my soul

I wish you’d tell me
I wish you well
My eyes deter me
Before I fell
I never knew you
As my life dwells
I still beckon
My heart can’t tell.

Stronger than false, truth lord
My body is stricken for one little arrow
So beg my knees lay to the floor
I can’t find you through this war
Still I search, pray for my angel
The light hits me and sends one last drift
Your still there waiting for me
I will find you, please wait and see.

I wish you’d tell me
All is well
My eyes deter me
As I fell
I finally saw you
Not heaven, not hell
And I still wonder
Where is all of this?
Because I’m still looking, for
Where my heart is.

Venus's Love
The night sky is dark above me,
But in the gloom I can see my shining star.
My beacon of hope in fading twilight,
I can see Venus;
Her light helps me to forget the pain I feel.

You know, in my heart I always wanted to be close to you.
I never admitted it then,
But without you, my life is as empty as your gaze was
The day you left me.

Your smile taught me how to face the future alone,
The way you did when the world fell in around you.
But how can I face this future without that smile?
No-one can ask a girl to give up her dreams.
And all I can do is dream of you.

The shooting stars are falling faster now,
And among them burns the forgotten star of our love.
The love that was not meant to be,
I can see it now.
I watch as it falls into the silent sea.

You know, in my dreams we were always together.
I never wanted to show you them,
My innocent tears, they fell like silver rain on a stormy day
Without an end.

Metal Hearts
Minds of metal, minds of heart,
Mindless in uncomprehending dark.
'Tis myself, yes I and me,
Who wield these horrors endlessly.

Did he see it on her face?
The love that fades to but a trace.
A mind filled with hatred, a shattered frame,
Knowing that he never felt the same.

Yet you still kill her, you still care,
Can there be feelings in that vacant stare?
You hide and keep her in the dark,
Your metal swallows up her mind of heart.

To us the saviour she may be,
But salvation she'll not know.
She'll kill her soul so you'll be free
To continue your never-ending show.

Brother of My Heart
A hand on my shoulder,
A Whisper in my ear
I feel you watching over me
One I hold dear.

I never got to meet you
It tears me up inside
To know that you are near me
But never by my side

I feel your prescence day to day
Giving me strength and courgage
To face the new day
I think of you when I'm down
Knowing you wouldn't want me to frown

I'm sorry for not visiting your grave
I feel ashamed
I should make the time and effort
As I know you would do the same

I know I will eventually meet you
But sometimes I think
Is it too long and all in vain
When I could have had a lifetime without pain

Sometimes I ask
"What would it be like if you were here"
So that I could hold dear
Brother of my heart
I will forever,
Miss you.

Reminiscing
Do you remember
The swingsets we used to swing on
The jungle gym's we used to climb
Days like this when we had no fear, no care in the world.

We laughed and cried
Until we were told to come inside
We did your homework without a fuss
Always ready to catch that bus!

Even younger still, we had our cartoons
We sat around going Choo Choo Choo!
We threw tantrums, yes we did
If we couldnt get something soon

As we grew older we grew up alot
Not others, they were content with their spot
Some moved forward
Some moved back
But in the end we all grew older

Now were all grown up
Working and studying thats what we do
To further our knowledge
And earn money to

Sometimes we still act like kids
But sometimes thats how we think
It may all be good and fine
Until that one day, when we stop and think
"What was I like..as a kid?"

The pain is just too real
Will you hear my call?
Trapped inside my own mind
Waiting for a helping hand
No one hears my call

A Serenade of haunting voices
Calling me away into the night
Wondering if I should wake up
Or stay trapped in a dream

I try to keep it inside
This pain seems so real
Do I crumble or do I fight
Do I run or do I confide?

Looking for hope
Looking for answers
Do I go towards or the light
Or do I stay in the dark.

Of Faerie-tale Stories
To be awsome
Is when we blossom
Into Faerie-tale stories
In which we flaunt our glories
For our lives are not as we desire
And therefore we conspire
To reach new heights
And set our sights
Upon a life long wants
And wanted flaunts
Of what we do not own
And what seeds we've sown
Of Faerie-tale stories
And life long glories

Essence, of Myself
To me, my soul
reclaim
a half empty glass of water
Akin to the link of
autumn wind,
alive are the leaves, they say...
Crinkling is the
sound, essential of
surviving the
Ominous
telltale
of
woodsmoke.

Flickering pure light
Is cleansed from the
steel grips of
the captor's prison.
Disturbing force or
hum.
Is audible in the wind...
I recoil at the
misty tendrils.
Grey,
distant,
malignant.

Distilled from the light...
And
my
heart

The Pencil
A cool light
touch
Is now gone
forever

Absence of
scritch-scratch
scritch-scratch
Gray lines no more

Feelings of emptyness
of air
Feelings of which is,
no longer there

Clicking of pens
or a slight
scritch-scratch
Or was

it only a
figment of my
traverse
imagination?

~Relinquishment~
As you lay me down to sleep
My soul I pray for you to keep

My darkness deep, mine eyes are blank
The approaching time of morals sank

Of agreement written and contract made
My fate is sealed and future laid

My road, my choice; the path I take
Of loves behind, I do not forsake

What came to soon for my last hour
Please, do not say, your forgiveness is sour

As I lay down my sleep forever
Of life no more shall I endeavor

~I Did So Crumble~
She said no word
Not a look
Quietly gathered her things
And the room forsook

Without me, without a note
Went quickly to go
No hellos or goodbyes
Nothing but a trailer to tow

Her gaze determined
Mine diminished
She left us all…
Our time was finished

I’ll miss her
Yet not at all
For if she had cared
Surely she wouldn’t let me fall?

But I did
I did so crumble
So she’s gone
That curs’ed fumble

Sad Eyes
Sad Eyes
Why do you hide?

I don't know why...

Sad Eyes
Why do you love?

I don't know why...

Sad Eyes
Why are you afraid?

I don't know why...

Sad Eyes
I know why.

Why do I?

Sad Eyes
You don't know how to react;
How to deal;
How to finally ignore others and search for your own happiness...

You feel the desire;
Feel the hope;
Feel the high of happiness;

You can't understand the true nature;
This scares you;
This troubles you deeply, and all seems lost.

But how do I fix it?

I don't know...
But you know...
Deep down...
You know deep down, Sad Eyes.

~Tears Unshed, But on the Verge~
She doesn't know what to do,
Or where to go
So she sits and stares, laughs and cries-
Sits there all day, feeling blue,
Hiding so she won't put on a show
Looking up to the endless skies-
And thinks if she were to fly, fly away...

She'll sit all day, she'll sit all night,
Think upon her loss
Wonder what she did, what occurred-
And then aside she'll toss,
Her weapons, eyes a-blurred-
Tears unshed, but on the verge...

Equality 7-2521
"'Tis forsaken" he said, his humble abode
that which he dwelled-
Sad and lonely, empty forthwith, to
our eyes the glee felled.

"Do not search" he said, his eyes a-dim
to the treasures of long past-
Gems, sparkles, iron-lace, of a
decoration skillful metal-cast.

"You won't find it here" he said, shifting glances
around the dismal gloom-
Cobwebs and spindle-lace, spun by
mischievious in-mates of the room.

"Far long gone" he said, leftmost his
eyes took hasty hiding-
Seeking exits and by-your-leave, he
would depart us deciding.

"I must go" he said, dancing from
toe to toe in anticipation-
Decietful words that he'd speak, in
hope of distracting fascination.

"We think otherwise" we said, pinning him
in place with iron-hard gaze-
"You have it" we said, refusing his
feeble attempts to loose us in maze.

"You hide it badly" we said, speaking our
truths we know quite well-
"It's ours by right" we said, pushing
our stance upon where we dwell.

"We... our..." we struggle to say, our
voices stutter far from together-
"Us... all..." we say, unable to
recognize the all, if ever.

"I!" I proclaim, elated by my own
ingenuitiy to find what I sought-
"It's mine." His grasp upon me,
broken by one, independant, thought.

Reap and Sow
Pitiful crying she would hear
but she would do nothing-
It was a ploy- yes a ploy
to coerce her to do something.

Painful slaps and beatings, they would
reverberate through the floor-
But she was certain, oh so certain,
that they just wanted an open door.

"Not me! Not me!" A faint shout
could've been audible to her ears-
Adamant, yes adamant, she'd
ignore in favor of experienced years.

Raw hands streaked with blood, oh no
she would not be moved!
This so-called atrocity, its
existence had yet be proved.

It was a mirage, she'd say,
that double of her in her sight-
Stupid atempt to trick, yes trick!
Her into walking forwards a slight.

Memory, oh memory, she would listen-
but sweet memory was wrong!
Decieved her wickedly, yes wicked
decietful to haunting song.

Listen, oh please listen, they told her
so repeatedly in dark corners-
They are false! Yes, false
these so-called mourners.

Of a wrecked and troubled,
yes they said troubled! mind-
She must be helped (helped?)
and treated oh-so-kind.

But this pitiful crying she'd hear
sounds vaguely like her own-
Treacherous actions and cruelty,
you'll reap what you've sown.

The New Girl
She was young, cute-
above all, innocent
They were young, experienced-
mannerisms non-reticent

She was small, timid-
unsure of what was done
They were self-centered, sure
She was easy to shun

Salty tears fell that day
Loneliness and pain all to real
No one would play with her
Their sick games she'd feel

Cutting deeply to the heart
That shell she owned
Cocooning her in armor
Her thoughts were where she roamed

The ability to laugh, play and win
them to her side
Forever hampered by cruel ten-year
olds on a joyride

She's not quite so timid now
But still shy in crowds
They still laugh and carouse
Her bangs are her shrouds

"Don't leave me alone"
Burned into her mind
Her greatest fear-
Loneliness in kind

Free-Write 2
Darkened Celestials shifting
in diffused delight
would glow uncertaintly
surfacing their worries
in thunderous applause
of trepidation-like reactions.

Scholarly figures
boast intelligence, but forget
the difference in
catastrophic quantities. To which they
become moronic in that of themselves.

Leaving shadows of
spiritual degradation which
softly creeps into my
mind, sweetly singing their haunting melodies.

Cavernous spaces,
in which we dwell-
Our hearts dwindle, so slowly-
and ever so slowly we,
will not rise.

These metaphorical lines,
capable of revealing-
my crying soul-
the ever continuous...
Death

She Wants It All
Two choices before her lay
One is constant, one is
the passionate flame that invites
the butterfly to its intense gaze.

She is hesitant, looking this way
and that-a-way, not sure where
to be, where to go, because that flame
insists that it is eternal, unwavering.

She loves the constant, the support.
She is attracted to the flame.
Beating wings push back from the fire,
But then move closer to see that which she desires?

That exotic butterfly, wishes to be selfish
To take for once what she wanted-
Having more than was allotted,
She wants it all.

All of it.

She wants it all.
And she can't have it all.

Prescience
Sadly we sing,
in epic song- of lives
half-lived and
wrought under ruler's ring.

We are not ourselves,
that is, of- the self
as we sit our hopes and dreams
upon the eternal shelf.

Individuality isn't known,
Forgotten entirely
to all we were and
are, souls have flown.

Seeking the One, the
ever present- he knows
and serves all, he sees-
as the river time flows.

We breathe our last breath,
and He will hear us call-
He is kind, loving, but just-
For he welcomes us
in our death-

Whisper Softly
Whisper softly in my ear
And I'll cherish all you hold dear
Destroy all bonds and ties
And I'll forget all your lies.

Whisper softly to the air
And he'll think you wise and fair.
Destroy all bonds and ties
And he'll never hear your lies.

Whisper softly to an empty room
And she'll think you succomb to gloom
Destroy all bonds and ties
And she'll never know your lies.

Whisper softly in our ears
And you won't see your fears
Destroy all bonds and ties
And we won't tell your lies...

Whispers
She told me to observe
them carefully, that I didn't see
the words they conserve
and lies they weave.

I would not believe
or hear her whispers
in my ear, so to conceive
the imagining of dark shudders.

Is this my naivete or
simply undeniable Right?
Solitude in my lore,
my sanity, for which I fight.

Insanity
Shut your eyes
Keep out the light
And in your mind,
Sanity inevitably dies-

Spinning 'round and 'round
The earth and ground
No more is stable
Death, enable

Strangers seek you
And you won't know why
Darkened corners,
And friends are few-

Sky is spinning
Nemesis is winning,
Light is now shade
Cold body down to be laid

Breathing shallow
And eyes will close
Turning to the dark
My life, now fallow

The Tragedy of The Stars
Lying down, observing the night sky.
The vast darkness, the abundant of stars; reaching up as if I was about to fly.

Stars can be very tragic; not a lot of people know.
Light in the eyes, a giver of hope, but all it can do is glow

So beautiful yet unreachable, so big yet so small,
Full of magic, full of flaw

I ask myself, can I find it? Can I find your star?
I look hard everywhere and I reach up but it's too far.

Unreachable, unattainable, untouched
Not by me, not by others, not by so much.

My mortality, my hopelessness, my tragedy
It makes me human, it makes me sad, just another casualty

Even if I was able to pick up your star,
maybe turn night to day,
It can't be kept in a jar
It will only fade away.

All I can do is watch and pray
Will I ever find your star today?

Something permanent, something real
I'll probably never attain it; just only be able to feel

To Forgive
Humbled, humiliated, enlightened, amazed,
awestruck, dumbfounded, perplexed, surprised

Time and time, I strayed and my heart went awry
Continually hurting you, making you cry.

Yet you never gave up on me,
and all the times you could just walk away and be free.

However, you loved me still
even when at times, our relationship went down hill.

Not once, not twice, not thrice, but four times
I kept hurting you, and changing my mind.

People hated me yet you stood by me,
Accusing me of just using you as a worker bee.

But now, it has taken me this long,
Why oh why, have I known this much to be so wrong?

Please forgive me,
I know now what to do.

Please forgive me,
I need you like I do.

Please believe me,
for now, every word will be true.

Please forgive me,
I can't stop loving you.

Unconquerable Strength
Bruised, battered, and feeling beat
The coming storm and it looks like utter defeat
My foes laugh and smile as I seem to face my fate.
However, little do they know, it's not checkmate!

There is no such thing as fate, only destiny!
Is this how I will end this tale? Negatively?!
Ha, I smile as I realize it isn't over, my fight has only begun.
I shout hard and scream, making some of them run.

"I will not lose to you!" I cry and take the sword off from the ground.
I stand up and charge headfirst, my new strength found.
Face yourself and you can face the world.
Indestructible, determination unstoppable. I'm going to give them a whirl...
Of my fury, strength, and pride!
No one can escape, no one can hide!

I fight for my life, my family, the people who believe in me.
My foes can't conquer me, I'm already free!
From tyranny, oppression, and fear,
Make sure everyday, you do something that people will hear
For the future days that will come
For people will know what you created and what was undone!

Evil, negative powers beware,
I am here, my spirit enlightened! Come and get me, if you dare!

Sadness of Blue
The final tear of blue rain,
Dripped down to conclude the storm’s end.
The sadness of the blue slowly descends,
It is a temporary sadness that won’t remain.

The trees are still soaked,
And the sad mood of blue is still around.
Blue is now all over the ground,
The ground is some what flooded by the leaves.

The ocean blue of the sky now becomes lighter,
Lighter, almost like the blue of ice.
The sadness is leaving, it feels nice,
The clouds are gone, the sun shines brighter.

Blue, blue, blue, blue,
It’s not a color, it is sadness.
It is the rain drops that fall on your head,
It is the time when it becomes empty outside.

When the squirrels and birds hide,
It is cold snow,
Mostly white with a touch of blue,
It is an early December.

It knows you won’t see him for a whole month,
It is the stain of my boots; it is one-third of America.
It is the favorite color of millions of people,
It’s when you know you’re not sure.

As the blue ice melts in spring,
You can hear the birds sing.
The color blue is finally gone,
Once again it will come.

If I Should Wake Before I Die
If I should wake before I die,
Then I shall have my chance to say goodbye.
If I should die before I wake,
Then I would die knowing that you and I weren’t a mistake.

Death is feared by most,
But it’s not supernatural, like a ghost.
But if I wake before I die, I must,
Then in God is where I’ll go, I trust.

Death consumes one by one or by dozens
It hurts it’s a friend, brother, or even a cousin
It is rarely accepted because it is hard

Once it comes and consumes you
You will be farther than a shining star.

My Past, My Future
Every past has a future
so I buried my past and tried the future.
But the future turned into my past...
I ran for cover.
Then I tried the future again.
And again it turned into my past
with much more pain this time.
Now my past has colored my present and
my future.
Colored it dark and sad.
I am running with nowhere to run to.

Life’s Melody in Jazz
There are many notes to life.
Some are high and some are low,
and the melody they form may seem discordant to some.
But all notes can for a melody, a combination,
of lows and highs.
Telling the song you feel.
There is no right or wrong...
only what you feel.
Your heartstrings play.
Play the lows
Play the highs
Join them together to form your song of life.

Cold Rain On My Soul
I walk alone, I feel alone.
Every day is filled with cold November rain.
I try to forget, but I always remember.
I remember how my heart was ripped out,
I remember the pain.
I remember the good times -
the laughter, the times of closeness.
Every day is filled with cold November rain.
In summer’s hottest days, there is cold November rain.
It feels so cold, the loneliness sets in.
I walk alone, I feel alone, I am alone.
The cold November rain runs in my soul
and in my veins.

Colors
Grey are my days, red are my tears.
My thoughts and feelings are swirling colors.
Emotions drag on the dirt.
The way I have become is the way I will stay.
Fear breeds fear, and I fear the world.
I heard the call to life and I answered.
All I received for my effort was...
grey days, red tears
swirling colors
emotions dragged on the dirt.

Untitled
In two different worlds we live apart,
But in Apoline we become as one,
Met in Heaven our Love attracted,
And in all of Isya our Love blossomed.

As flowers bloom in early spring,
Happiness and care our relationship brings,
Drops of rain may come our way,
But the shining sun will always stay.

You are my love so everlasting,
My devotion for you is undividing,
My care for you is neverending,
My dear _CutiePie_; You're my everything.

Is it me or is it you,
Am i red or you're just blue?,
Do i cry when you're too happy,
Will i shy away while you're being merry.

Is it me or is it you,
Is it a fantasy or a dream come true?,
Am i hot or you're too cold,
Am i humble when you're too bold.

Is it me or is it you,
are we alike or difference of two?,
When i turned left u went to right,
Are we meant to be together please god hear my plight.

Is it me or is it you, i don't care if its even true,
i live in doubts and questions no more, because u do love me and its u i adore.

Untitled
Your love to me my love,

Need not be said,
Need not be told,
Need not be shown,
Need not be heard.

Its like the wind,
U see the wind not but felt its breeze,
Its like the sun,
U felt the warmth though its far away.

Its always there through the air i breath,
Its always there through the lights i see,
Its always there through the sound i hear,
Its aways there through softness i touch.

Before you say “I can’t”, Make sure you’re already tried.
I’ve already tried and yet I’m still trying.

Before you allow obstacles stop you, confront and transform them to opportunities,
Obstacles and challenges will not dampened my spirit undying.

Before you believe that it’s impossible,
Never have I thought it was impossible,

Pursue the way you think is possible.
I’ve tried so far to make it possible.

Before you settle for less,
I’ve always wanted the best,

Hold on to what’s truly important.
Trying hard to hold that quest.

Before you go looking for happiness,
I’ve found the meaning of happiness,

Make your own right where you are.
When I’m with you I’m in eternal bliss.

Before you give up on your dreams,
I’ve never give up my dreams,
Hanging tight and working hard,

Just hang on and wait a little longer… They’ll come true!!!
But will reality comes from dreams,
A question I leave for you to part.

You’re meant to me like the everlasting sun,,
Without you here my life would be gone,
Thanks to you my life still goes on,
If I ever should lose you, that’s the day misery would be as one.

Your eyes are like a pair of pearls,
Glistering under the light of your warmth,
So pure, so gentle, it brings me cheers,
To face anything and all my wraths.

Your face is a drop of golden tears,
It lights me up whenever you’re near,
It shines the world ; it’s pure and clear,
It gives me strength, braveness when I’m in fear.

Your skin so fair like the Himalaya’s snow,
I pray and wish to hold you in my arms,
Together we’ll be in eternal glow,
Protecting each other from any harms.

Your nose so sweet and it’s not petite,
It fits your face and it’s just right,
It mesmerize me because you’re so pretty,
To meet a lady for me to know, to talk and to be within sight.

Your lips are red like roses bloom in may,
It looks so beautiful in every single way,
It’s passion and hope will always guide my way,
Together we’ll be; excellence is the way.

The outer beauty does not matter to me,
The inner beauty that’s attracting me,
Your way of life, the way you live your day,
Just livens up my life even though you’re far away.

You are a lady; that’s really hard to find,
You have vision and determination; you always shine,
You’re fit always body and mind,
I love everything about you till the end of time.

You mean so much; I don’t know what to say,
Your presence in my life had changed my many ways,
If I ever should lose you that will be the end of my days,
Cause I know my heart, my life would never be the same.

If you ever should fall, I’ll be there lighting your way,
You’ve helped me so much; it’s time for me to pay,
I’ll help you dearest; believe it when I say,
I’ll be by your side and together we’ll work our way.

Together forever, I hope that we would be,
Though it’s only a split second that’ll be enough for me,
It’ll stay in my heart and always in my memories,
Together the both of us shall reach beyond eternities.

We do make mistakes; after all we’re human beings,
But sometimes to make it right; it’s just a Dreamt of Beings.

Untitled
My heart fills with feelings,
But my face shows no expressions,
My heart feels just like clinging,
To an enigma of foreign sensations.

My mind is filled with memories,
Of dreams of future and past,
To live with that much miseries,
Is a pain that man shouldn’t ask.

My eyes are filled with tears,
But to cry; i know I can not do,
To convey my thoughts and feelings with peers,
An option lost to me;just like you.

My body trembles in fear,
Of the things I feared the worst,
To some; they laugh to tears,
Cause I fear of losing you the most.

My hands now trembles for you,
Cause my fears are reality of pain,
I love you but I have lost you,
But will I finally find you; or will you come back again.

The guy who loves you, if he can't always see you,
he will try to make himself busy, for not to have any time to remember you, because he knew, if he did, he will keep on missing you until he could do nothing.

The guy who loves you can't tell you the reason
why he loves you. He only knows that in his eyes,
you are the only one.

The guy who loves you seldom praises you
but in his heart, you are the best and only he
knows it.

The guy who loves you will worry sick or complain
if you don't reply his messages because he cares.

The guy who loves you only sheds his tears in
front of you and when you try to wipe his tears,
you are touching his heart, the heart that beats for
you.

The guy who loves you will remember every word
u said even if its accidental and he will always
use those words in the nick of time.

The guy who loves you will not promise easily
because they don't want to break that promise. He
wants you to believe in him and he wants to give
you the happiest and safest life always.

The guy who loves you always tells you not to
think too much because he planned everything he
wants to give u - the perfect life in the future. He
wants to surprise you. Believe that he can do it.

The guy who loves you will go to the airport to
fetch you. He won't carry a bouquet of roses and
call you darling like what you expected but he will
carry your luggage and ask you, "Why have you
become so thin in two days?" with his sincere
heart.

The guy who loves you will listen quietly to you
when you are mad and when you finished talking
he will say, "You have class tomorrow, sleep
earlier with a smile. I'll make sure you do."

The boy who loves you doesn't know whether he
should call you when you are angry but he will
send a message to you after a few hours. If you
ask him why he call that late he will say, "When
you are angry, my explanation will be rubbish but
when you calm down, my explanation will work."

The boy who loves you always calls you a kid but
everytime he wants to make a big decision, he will
want to hear your advice first

The guy who loves you don't like toys like teddy
bears but he will always put the bear you gave him
on his bed and hug it everytime he sleeps cos it
reminds him of you.

The guy who loves you, when quarrelling, will
apologize non-stop, eventhough if you're the one
who's wrong. He just wants you to be happy.

The guy who loves you, when he really misses
you, he will buy you a bouquet of roses and wait
for you stupidly outside your front door and when
you shockingly find him there, he is already asleep
dreaming of you.

The guy who loves you will tear his heart open
just to avoid you shedding a single drop of tear.

What Hope Is
Hope is...the beam of light that shines in the darkness
Hope is...the the diamond buried in the rock
Hope is...the fire burning in the snow
Hope is...the seeds among the lava fields
Hope is...the life among all death
Hope is...the egg laid upon the nest
Hope is...the DNA in our blood
Hope is...the sprouts among the charred ash of it's father
Hope is...the love amidst all the world's hate
Hope is...the heart beating in our bodies
Hope is...the things that we look towards to guide us through our life

Untitled
Sadness have strikes me
I fought harder and harder
To get the happiness back
I weeps frequently
I smiles frequently
Happiness is what I want in return
Having her support me
Gave me a happiness

Sadness have strikes me
I fought harder and harder
To get happiness back
I wore masks thousand times
I pretend and it hurt
Having her to take off my mask
To reveal the truth out of me
Gave me a happiness

Sadness have strikes me
I fought harder and harder
To get the happiness back
My heart is shattered
I grabbed a broom to gather it together
I cries
Having her glue my heart all together
Brought me into happiness once again.

Untitled
I fell in love with a single white rose,
She's not a red one or a pink one,
A plain white that does not stand out,
Still she's managed to catch my attention,
So slowly, gently, and with a soft touch,
I've picked up this beautiful girl,

Such an amazing and kind-hearted girl,
Equal to that of the beauty of a rose,
Caring and so sensitive to my touch,
She has to be my one and only one,
Trapped and giving her all my attention,
And I have no intentions of bailing out,

Perspectives would say we're going out,
Whispers of the beauty of this amazing girl,
I never thought I would catch her attention,
Too tenacious like the smell of a rose,
Yet she has become my hearts only one,
A topic I will never allow us to touch,

But why do I shiver when I feel her touch?
All of my hearts feelings come rushing out,
How could she possibly be my only one?
A smart, funny, kind, and loving girl,
Is there a penalty for me picking this rose?
The risk of losing more than just her attention,

But I don't want to ever lose her attention,
having her hold me with the softest touch,
Smelling her scent as intoxicating as a rose,
Lending my shoulder when her tears come out,
Staring at her as though she's the only girl,
Because I pray she will forever be my only one,

I will let my heart follow only this one,
Caring for her heart with sincere attention,
She still has the soul of a loving girl,
Lost inside a soft yet caring touch,
So forbid my mind from ever blacking out,
As you shine the beauty of a white rose,

Please let this girl choose me as her only one,
Using the disguise of a rose to hold my attention,
Just one soft touch - my heart has no way out...

Quietly
Quietly, I'd go-
and no one would know.

Sadly, I'd step away-
Why they'd not notice, I couldn't say.

I'll stand and observe-
Though my emotions would swerve.

Should a tear leak-
Soft sighing footsteps won't creak.

They won't see me go-
Not really apart of their show.

Mournfully, I'll fade-
Into deep waters I'd wade.

And quietly I'll go-
And no one will ever know.

Yeah. Though I'm a little biased on my opinion, I contributed a lot of them.

However, my favorite that doesn't belong to me is Poet Laureate #10, 143snake's 3rd poem- untitled, since he never did title it.

Inloved
Ever been inloved

to the point you ignore everything around

to a fact that your heart beats

thats the only thing you hear

the beating sound

to a point that you consume every inch in your body

just to satisfy and deny your self and others

just to make her happy

to a point that just hopelessly inloved

that nothing matters

seeing her every hour and day

devoted yourself and in a second your

life just shatters

feel free to be inloved

cus its one of the amazing things to find

from here to beyond

be scared for the consequences

but the advantage is that you learn

keep going, no matter how much it cost

and find the one you love the most

cuts bruises head aches and pain

you live and love again

Sudden Fall
Words can only describe my failure

is it meant to be

To loose my greatest treasure

or is it me

To be so dumb and dispicable

My actions seem to change

Am i capable, to do such rage

or my mind just out of control

to do things, with my mind and

body without a soul

my mistakes, keeps me up

to think of it

its just the on makes me stop

no i've learned my lesson

hurting such a person

is not acceptable

it just got me to trouble

as my mind splits into double

The Archer's Accident.

When you're party sais "MOB!";
You run to do your Job.

When you take that 1st Pop;
You're praying you don't Flop.

When You're on your way Back;
You see you're partys talkin smack.

When you have hit hotkey 8; (natures protection)
Your cleric becomes the Bait.

When your healers been chomped of the plate then your mage meets his fate;
You see the fighter lasts longer, but shortly curses you with Hate.

When you have no choice but to kite;
Your mob trains slaughtered with hardly any fight.

Then its obvious that your party is toast;
but then you exclaim "Maybe I'll solo! XD," while you boast.

Erm, this was a collection of past Apoline-poem posters from the previous poet thread... not fanfiction section. If you go back 2-3 pages, you can see the old thread.

If this was a collection of every poem posted in Fiesta-forums, this would probably be in fan-fiction with submissions from a lot more servers.

Thus the reason why it's in Apoline...

I'm not a very good poet. And an even worse one at 4am with bleary eyes, but I wrote this a few days ago for my girl.

"Waiting for Him"

Waiting for him in a weary world,
She pulls up her blanket to ward off the cold.
Tick tock, tick tock; the clock grinds on.
She'd remain for him till the brim of dawn,
But time moves swiftly, her consciousness fades.
The seconds slow, turning to days,
And colors swirl, then plotlines progress
For her mind is still alive, though her body is at rest.

Through the various stages of sleep,
She reaches out between the bedsheets;
Yet he is not there to hold in her arms.
He is not there to keep her warm.
No, he is somewhere outside her bedroom door
For what purpose, even he is unsure.
Yet still she waits for him in a faraway land;
For that moment he will take her by the hand.
And then, in love's sweet embrace,
They will drift off together through time and space.

17th Birthday Poem to Saru_Watari~

You are my entire world
My very reason to live
And because of the way I feel
To you my heart I give
For I never really understood
The meaning of true love
So it is with the purest heart
My love I declare for you
That will last an entire lifetime
And for all eternity too

I shouted this on Apoline today~ He loved it <3 lol

All these poems r about love...so here's one about trivial moments and other stuff

I have a passion for apple and cherry
Whenever I eat it, I get very merry

I sing a song and do a little jig
and when im done, i smoke a cig

I looked at the clock, it said half past four
About damn time there was a knock on the door

My parcel arrived, I opened it in a hurry
Too late, that was the end of my McFlurry

I threw a tantrum, I threw a fit
I was losing my mind, bit by bit

I took out from the fridge, a nice iced cherry
Did I tell you that cherry gets me merry?

yay, trivial stuff :)

The Return?

A familiar face walks back into town.
The place where it all started, he once again found.

His last depature, he remembers, was filled with tragedy and sadness.
Ashamed for the sins of his past, his time alone was also filled with bouts of madness.

In his slumber, he overcame his fears, anxiety, and loneliness.
He faced himself and faced his hopelessness.

He emerged stronger, determined and then he decided to head back.
To make amends and the hope that continued to lack.

Everything has changed, time never stood still.
What was once there, was gone......it created chills.

As he stood in the middle of the town, he saw the past he left.
They welcomed him back with a light cheer, nothing too big, but well met.

He then saw his past come into his eyes, a tear went down his face.
They have moved on, and found their own place.

With a smile, they welcomed him back. But inside, he could never forgive.
Himself, for what he did...yet he decided to live

As his heart was happy to be back and to see that happiness never left,
the memories he had could never be lived again, only kept.

Looking into the sky, he realized he too needed much more time.
Until then, he's going to work for that small dime.

To create, the power he knew he always had but forgot.
Who knows? A new memory can be created from his past he once fought.

It's not about fighting, it's about accepting, moving on, and creating.
Only then can he officially return, his friends, waiting.

(Thank you to Taki and Peach64 for giving me a small welcoming "party" back.)

The New Girl
She was young, cute-
above all, innocent
They were young, experienced-
mannerisms non-reticent

She was small, timid-
unsure of what was done
They were self-centered, sure
She was easy to shun

Salty tears fell that day
Loneliness and pain all to real
No one would play with her
Their sick games she'd feel

Cutting deeply to the heart
That shell she owned
Cocooning her in armor
Her thoughts were where she roamed

The ability to laugh, play and win
them to her side
Forever hampered by cruel ten-year
olds on a joyride

She's not quite so timid now
But still shy in crowds
They still laugh and carouse
Her bangs are her shrouds

"Don't leave me alone"
Burned into her mind
Her greatest fear-
Loneliness in kind

Her heart beats
Flowing from her chest inside her bed sheets
Hands of coldness beside her slowly begin to shake
Tears hold back for fear her parents wake

Her mind plays
Fantasies that masquerade her long days
Equipped with goals and dreams and marks of good grades
Subtle thrusts and inch by inch her hope fades

Her mouth gasps
Hard around her neck the ending noose grasps
Motionless her breath of life does soon pass
She was meant for something else - a new class

I dedicate this poem to an amazing friend who despite all the flaws she has seen in me, she continues to be a friend who continues to care.

My Friend

In this world, we have heroes, idols, and friends.
People who we look up to, always there with their words, mightier than the pen.

But I think friends encompass the other two written above.
They advise us and are often graceful as a dove.

When I needed advice, you were there with the truth and honesty.
I could take on the world and yet do it modestly.

When I needed help, without a thought,
you rushed in and stayed with me and fought.

When I needed someone to cry to, you listened with your heart.
You lent a shoulder, then cheered me up with a small, funny fart.

You made me forget the worries I had,
but showed me the real truth; making me really glad.

A toast to you and a thanks for putting up with me.
You were always there to open the door, and also that very key!

Thank you, my friend, you are truly someone special and extraordinary.
Yet, you're not taking that very last strawberry!

Life goes on

Life goes on,
No cares, as
People die, or
Hearts are broken,

Life goes on,
Always marching on,
Carrying everyone’s cares,
And everyone’s pains,

Life goes on,
Men cheating, as
Women cry, and
Hearts are broken.

Aftermath

What's left of the town has been reduced to rubble.
Our save haven, our happy place, our protective bubble.

There's nothing to think, there's nothing to say.
Memories, feelings, people, are missing except for the upcoming day.

That building was where we first met.
And that bench is where we made our first promises to be kept.

Here is the fountain where we had our first kiss.
But it's all destroyed, everything is amiss.

It happened too quickly. I reached out for you in the chaos and called your name.
You didn't hear me. You shed a tear as I saw you perished in the flame.

Now, there's nothing left, only the memory of me and you.
Tears fall from my face, slippery as the morning dew.

I buried you where we promised eternity; in that beautiful field.
As I look back one more time, I promised you.....I would rebuild.

Day 1: Dawn of Dawns

3 years has past since that fire and I saw you perished in the flame.
However, rumors goes, that this fire had a party to blame.

A selfish act of violence, from an enemy that we never heard of.
They took away my town, my memories, my love.

I joined the military as part of a way to redeem someway of what I lost.
They trained me and I was determined to fight, no matter the cost.

I made many friends, comrade in arms, who empathized with my plight.
They gave me a lot of support as we all took flight into the fight.

I keep your favorite flower in my pocket; wishing it for luck and survival.
Only it can I truly feel your revival.

The day had come where our skills would be tested.
I was anxious, nervous, not really too well-rested.

As my comrades and I looked upon the field.
There stood my enemies, not wanting to yield.

We led the charge with a might shout that was was gone
from the clash of weapon and steel...it would be the dawn of dawns.

well yea this is a song i wrote one boring physics class, i dont know where it came from o.o:

HOMECOMING
A mother looked out her window

Hoping he would come today

He who had gone into the fray

She knew it would be the same tomorrow

Just as the sun set she looked

She saw a man at her stair

But he was not the one she longed

He came bearing the banner of her son

The sun set,her fear was met

The darkness that enveloped the world

Could not pierce a mother's woe

Her son lost in a war long fought

The man sung praises of his deeds

How would that quench a mother's need?

To see her son one last time

There will be no homecoming just scars

"The enemy came in numbers not counted

Our army was out fighting eleswhere

Their passing was not noted

There we made our last stand

Our arrows felled many

but could not rout the enemy

malice hung heavy about them

They were barbarians with no fear

In the last effort of the company

Our captain rallied his horsemen

Your son was his esquire

They charged into the thicket

They charged with the spear of Phobos

No man could face their steel

Hardened by the wars of past ages

Pounced like wolves on fresh meat

A spear blessed by the god of death

Our captain fell,our morale sapped

We fled from sight, the esquire remained

greived by the death of his captain

Unsheating his sword, charged to his doom

He killed many but stood no chance

To his last call, came the infantry

With new morale and spirit to avenge

Against the many odds

We managed to win the battle

They honoured his body like a king's

The esquire of the 3rd Equite

As the sun rose, many men came

With them they bore the body

".............. the brave" they called

Thus he finally came home.

I Thought I Knew You

I thought I knew you under that one tree
We promised each other eternity.

I thought I knew you when we fought together and strive hard
We were invincible; we were always dealt the right card.

I thought I knew you when I was at your bed side.
I held your hand and we just both cried

I thought I knew you during the times you needed help.
All the problems I helped you solve, and you mine; we all dealt.

I thought I knew you on that fateful day we had to go our own way.
It just seemed just both of us needed to see our own light of day.

I guess I didn't really know you when I saw you again alone.
Your name.....engraved on the grave stone.

Free-Write 2
Darkened Celestials shifting
in diffused delight
would glow uncertaintly
surfacing their worries
in thunderous applause
of trepidation-like reactions.

Scholarly figures
boast intelligence, but forget
the difference in
catastrophic quantities. To which they
become moronic in that of themselves.

Leaving shadows of
spiritual degradation which
softly creeps into my
mind, sweetly singing their haunting melodies.

Cavernous spaces,
in which we dwell-
Our hearts dwindle, so slowly-
and ever so slowly we,
will not rise.

These metaphorical lines,
capable of revealing-
my crying soul-
the ever continuous...
Death

Ages ago, my 7th grade teacher taught us this free-write exercise for free-write poems. We randomly write out descriptive words, words of any kind really, about 15-20 or so. Then in the order we wrote them, we list them down the middle of the page vertically. You then turn each word into a phrase. If the forums would let me, I'd show you how it's supposed to look, which is like a a line of words down the page, a "spine" if you will, with phrases before or after coming from each side. It looks really cool, but the forums won't let me do that 0.- This exercise is exactly the same one as one of my previous poems listed on my Poem Laureate post (Essence, of Myself)

The free-write is designed to help with expressing yourself and helping with writer's block. I like mostly just to help with expressing myself if I can't make rhymes.

She Wants It All
Two choices before her lay
One is constant, one is
the passionate flame that invites
the butterfly to its intense gaze.

She is hesitant, looking this way
and that-a-way, not sure where
to be, where to go, because that flame
insists that it is eternal, unwavering.

She loves the constant, the support.
She is attracted to the flame.
Beating wings push back from the fire,
But then move closer to see that which she desires?

That exotic butterfly, wishes to be selish
To take for once what she wanted-
Having more than was alotted,
She wants it all.

All of it.

She wants it all.
And she can't have it all.

Remember the Night

Do you remember when we stole the night?
We took the moon and created our own light.

It was you and me, the moment was just right.
Little did we know, it was just the beginning of our plight

Now these days, I sit alone gazing at the stars.
Wondering where did you go and where you are.

I lift my arm into the sky and pray.
Will I see you again? Will you take me as I am....will that be okay?

My heart aches and what I do to see you again in all of your grace.
But knowing that it is fate and choice that will lead you to this place.

The place where we stole the night; we'll do it again if you're here.
I'll keep this seat next to me warm...if you remember, my dear.

Kindred Spirits in an Ever Changing World

He made a turn to the right; she made a turn to the left.
It would be in this time, in this place, that these kindred spirits met.

He was a bustling busy body, ready to take on the world all over again.
She was a beautiful, quiet creative mind; seeking the truth to comprehend.

Their eyes met in that busy place and that's when time officially stopped.
It took one glance, for their hearts to intertwine and any worry they had to drop.

In this small world, it was only them; no one else was to interfere.
He took her by the hand and told her, "you are finally here".

She looked into his eyes and tears of joy came out.
She said to him, "I know that I'm here, it's no doubt."

Then as the world they created seemed so new, reality came in.
One second later, they walked passed each other; the dream, el fin.

He looked back, realizing he didn't want to let go.
But she was gone, his feeling of happiness....felt so long ago.

Holding On

Goals, dreams, and passions.
Some stay permanent, some change just like fashion.

Yet, there is a dream I always hold on to.
And that is never letting go of you.

You give me purpose and you give me life.
We were strong for each other through each "life" strife.

As I see you go, I want to say at the top of my lungs with my heart,
Please don't go! I can't bear us to be apart.

I want to hold on with all my strength and power
With all this might, to protect this delicate flower.

This dream isn't a endless, mindless stare.
I believe in you, I want to show you that I care.

Holding on may not be the wisest thing to do.
But I do it because my heart tells me, it's because I love you.

Gosh, I'm really rolling this out. I need to take a break. Got to love being inspired. ;)

Something different and a bit happier for once. :)

Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Pineapple upside down cake,
Of all the pieces that are left, there is only one left to take.

An eccentric taste not for the faint of heart,
Yet, this cake is a weird spin for a fruit "tart"

Why can't you be right side up instead of upside down
I rather be eating something smiling than one showing a frown

Only good on the summer and never for any other season.
It just tastes good with hot weather, that's the main reason!

Pineapple upside down cake, I cannot lie.
I rather wait for fall and eat pumpkin pie.

The Journey Ahead!

"Life is a roller coaster."
That quote is said by many, even placed on a poster.

But my life is unique in my own way.
It's my life, I can choose that the sun will shine today!

These trials I faced and those yet to come.
I will conquer them and people will know where I'm from.

My journey in the past phase of my life might be over.
But the learning continues and I will fly as high over the Cliffs of Dover.

For my family, for my friends, for those I love, and for those who believe,
I will show you what my hands can conceive!

My calling, to heal and to become a sort of model and proctor.
6 years from now, everyone will be calling me doctor!

***Some small history on this poem. I recently graduated from college last August in a degree in Economics. I went in preliminary as a pre-med candidate yet gave up half way. However, two amazing people who are showing undaunted courage against cancer has led my new (or old) inner passion to become a doctor. So this poem is dedicated to them and to the people I love.

Snow, Snow

A cold day for my arms and bones
Doesn't really know it yet
But I've walked along the certain ground
Many times, when the stage was set

One time there was a wind
Like daggers to the face
And all things that went through it
Only knew words that disgrace

But I last walked through the frozen field
And I was greeted by a gentle breeze
The snow danced around the air
Lifted my heart that didn't freeze

It was right then I learned
The wind and snow hadn't subsided
It was me that wanted to see
A field of white; I was more open-minded

I came up with this one a while ago, too. It's a little bit more mature than I intended it, but I still liked it. It has no title.

I don't know where to go
Another night gone passed to slow
Disappeared into a bottle again
I swear I don't even know when I began
So across the floor the pictures lay
As I stay in lethargy another day
I have no place to go anymore
In my mind a wall seemed to grow from a stone floor

For a third night, now we see
His dull eyes stared right at me
It seems to search for a place to stay
But fear has chased his heart away
And now I know he's taken in too much
Of these poisons, they're now his crutch
A slate of white and he just looks so pleased
More off, he's not just addicted to these

The room swirls away, and I shut my eyes
Even now, in pain, I see the sky
Out in the space of a paradise
What I thought was relief has become my vice
Slipping away from a human earth
Where I am now dug six feet in the dirt
The sleep I sleep permanently comes
And now I lay here, through the sun and the storms

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye my friend
Until we do meet again
The greatest chance you had for your life
Thrown away, still, I'll say goodnight.

Goodnight.

Prescience
Sadly we sing,
in epic song- of lives
half-lived and
wrought under ruler's ring.

We are not ourselves,
that is, of- the self
as we sit our hopes and dreams
upon the eternal shelf.

Individuality isn't known,
Forgotten entirely
to all we were and
are, souls have flown.

Seeking the One, the
ever present- he knows
and serves all, he sees-
as the river time flows.

We breathe our last breath,
and He will hear us call-
He is kind, loving, but just-
For he welcomes us
in our death-

I felt another poem coming on and I had to get this out =3

Whisper Softly
Whisper softly in my ear
And I'll cherish all you hold dear
Destroy all bonds and all ties
And I'll forget all your lies.

Whisper softly to the air
And he'll think you wise and fair.
Destroy all bonds and all ties
And he'll never hear your lies.

Whisper softly to an empty room
And she'll think you succumb to gloom
Destroy all bonds and all ties
And she'll never know your lies.

Whisper softly in our ears
And you won't see your fears
Destroy all bonds and all ties
And we won't tell your lies...

Whispers
She told me to observe
them carefully, that I didn't see
the words they conserve
and lies they weave.

I would not believe
or hear her whispers
in my ear, so to conceive
the imagining of dark shudders.

Is this my naivete or
simply undeniable Right?
Solitude in my lore,
my sanity, for which I fight.

It's Always Dark Outside
It's Always Been This Way Since I Remember
Maybe That One Time There Was A Gleam Of Light

There Was That Time When You Were So Oblivious
To What Was Going Around

Or I Was Creepy Scare

But Either Way, I Dont Even Get A Stare

I'm Tired Of Moving
And Tired Of Being Alone
We Both Know How This Is Going To Go
But I'm Too Stubborn
And You Let Me Flap My Wings In The Dark
While You Sing

You Were Always Singing
Singing Here, Singing There
And When You Sung To Me
It Wasn't Plain To See
That I Was Played Like A Fool And Used As A Tool

I'm Still Betting You Wont Tell Anyone

I Was Told To Get A Phone
But Then Still I'd Be Alone
And The Only Friend I'd Have Would Be Dial Tone
And If If I Ever Lost It It Would Be My Fault
No It Wouldn't Be A Accident It Would Be A Good Cause

So I Pack Up All My Things As I Walk Into The Dark

I'm Gonna Try To Play To Play It Safe

I thought I knew you.
You dragged me along.
You made me love you.
But I guess I was wrong.
This world is cruel.
Especially you.
You told me I was beautiful, sweet, a jewel.
My heart, it can never be made new.
Why did you lie?
Act like you cared?
Now it's time for me to say goodbye.
I'll try to make it like you were never there.
I still have memories
Of the good times we shared.
But they're thinning away,
Every single day.
Not even one million
Of your appolagies
Can get me out of this despair.
You should just stop trying,
Or I'll just keep on crying.
You were so sweet, so loving, so kind.
I wanted you to be mine.
But it was all a trick.
I was blind.
Now, to me,
You are like air.
So thin, so small.
You are barely there.
I thought I knew you.
You dragged me along.
You made me love you.
But I guess I was wrong.

Lol something i googled...

Insanity
Shut your eyes
Keep out the light
And in your mind,
Sanity inevitably dies-

Spinning 'round and 'round
The earth and ground
No more is stable
Death, enable

Strangers seek you
And you won't know why
Darkened corners,
And friends are few-

Sky is spinning
Nemesis is winning,
Light is now shade
Cold body down to be laid

Breathing shallow
And eyes will close
Turning to the dark
My life, now fallow

The First Step

I held my breath
and measured the depth
of the first step that I will make
of the journey I will partake

It wasn't easy but I got here.
From the long hours and bittersweet tears,
I finally made it.
Not like a home run; more of a base hit.

More steps to walk.
More faces to meet and talk.
More days of worrying and praying.
More days of laughing and playing.

There! I took it! My first step.
I wonder, is my cake ready yet?

I suppose, if you want to. All original poems are welcome- meaning content is original. If the cadence is the same as The Raven, it's fine, just not the content.

=)

I can't add anyone else to the first 10 posts, because those were the people who were part of the first thread, but you can add them to your posts now.

Because, if you notice, most of the poems here aren't Fiesta-related. If they were, it'd get boring really fast.

Name: Waltimore
GM: [GM]RoboPanda

Guys, I have a confession to make. This Valentine's Day I wrote a small poem for the GM I chose. I hope you all enjoy.

A Gamer’s First Date

I come from a family no bigger than three.
There’s a mom, a brother, and of course, me.
Despite what they say, gamers grow up right,
We don’t buck, or hiss, or put up a fight.
So when it came down to asking you this Valentine’s Day
I have to tell you, I had a lot to say.

You do not strike me for use of propaganda
So would you be my valentine, [GM]RoboPanda?
I have been playing Fiesta for longer than most,
And I must say you have been a most hospitable host.
I have often been known to roam the FBZ,
Where my axe meets the heads of any trespassee.

I proudly boast my guild; Champions of all
My friends, compatriots, we rarely fall.
I have not much to offer, but my gentle prowess,
Even a dexterous opponent would think it a-miss.
So on this day, I must do something bold.
To you, I offer, my heart of GOLD

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c41/transcendence89/Heart4.jpg

I think of you strongly as I write this memoranda
So be mine once more, [GM]RoboPanda.

Sincerely
Waltimore - Apoline

Here I Stand
It's crazy that I'm here.
But I stand, without fear.
Even though a step apart,
What's far away, are our hearts.

It was that very first look.
Nothing couldn't describe it; not even a book.
I said, "hello" and you said "hi"
From there on, there was nothing that we could defy.

But now, we stand divided.
Only because I didn't hear and got misguided.
My intentions was for the goal at the end.
But instead, I left you stranded; now, my soul seeks to mend.

You said, "you don't need me."
But in fact, I really do; it fills me with endless glee.
The hope you provide.
It allows me to tackle anything, worldwide.

So, just give me a few.
As I stand before you.
I stand humbled and in all you can see.
My heart is true, I know. Please forgive me.
