Error with launcher

Aight, installed the game and opened the launcher. It says the patching is done and all but when I put in my email, password and press on Login I get an error.

"The game is either closed for maintenance or you have not been invited to play yet."

After that it says "Checking solstice version" at the bottom, forever....

What to do?

This message doesn't come up unless the game is under maintenance.
but, you could try restarting your computer; if you haven't yet, or someone nice will reply with the final answer =)
