AOE in SOtS

OK...Apparently we needd new rules for the AOE people in SotS. I realize in order to LVL with any quickness in this game is to AOE, We ALL realize this. The Problem with AOE, is the Multitude of Players who Monopolize a map for Hours at a time. These Players are under the Assumption that they "Own" the Map they are AOEin. So far in this game, I have not seen a player with a Deed to ANY map. So...I don't know how to put this, but...NOBODY OWNS ANY MAP!!! If you don like What's Happenin...MOVE FOO...*removed pr possible blacklisting*

aw i get frustrated with ppls aoe sometimes but everyones gotta lv there is no rules for aoe best thing u can do is find another place or make pt to takeover mwhahah.but seriously why get mad at someone for holding a map i mean when yer aoeing and someone comes to try to aoe map yer on what do u do? o.o

no one owns the map thats true, but aoeing is competitive. My general rule is the following.

Shout if someone is aoeing.
Ask if they want to party.
If they refuse aoe anyway because its no ones map.

Only thing i dislike is when no 1 shouts and then when you ask for party they totally ignore you or refuse...Dont be greedy party people best way for EXP and no 1 complains...

I agree with Siph too though we (my aoer and I) don't ever shout. We check if someone is actually mobing! I ask for party if they are friends of mine or if they are people we know won't be slacking or afk'ing every 5 mins and we refuse to party with anyone we either really hate (d'uh) or anyone who we know mobs so slow my aoer and I end up to do like 75%+ of the map alone!

Sure party 99% of the times are better than solo. However, when you feel the other isn't doing much, it's no wonder some people rather say no :rolleyes:!

Edit: Oh and of course no one owns a map! If you wanna play in one, no one can ask you to leave! An aoer who leaves a map who's being aoe isn't doing it because he have to leave, he's leaving cause he's nice enough to leave. Something people don't seem to understand~~

aoers are good.. but please dont leave ur mobbsss... respawns kill alot... please please.. when u aoe shout if ur killing so we will be aware of any respawns up ahead us... we dont wanna lose 7% just of those respawns... please be kind to others... LOVE SOTS

lol, now what do you do in a situation were someone comes and takes over ur map and then claims theve ben there before u evin tho youve ben there for an hour already, so you try negotiate and ask em if they wonna pty, and they say no and threaten to report you if you try take action coz u have no proof to show you wer there 1st and there all difficult and already started taking all the mobs, no map sharing evin tho you intruded on my solo lvling >.> ... yes im still angry about that.

Shout.. is for courtesy but to be honest, no one needs to shout because no one owns a map.. You don't have to ask their permission to do what you wish but try to form a party with any aoer you see in that map.. The edited part of kiirin is true.. no one has to leave a map and if the player does, that is because the player is nice enough to leave xD If no one wants to form a pt, then aoe the map as you wish..

I'm sorry to say this but if you can't handle respawn, that means you have to grind somewhere safer or form a big party with healers in it.. Not all aoers/healers have the time to shout before the kill especially if they take more than 1 damage..

You can only report that person if he is training or holding all the mobs from you.. take screenie and report to CSR.. if it just a matter of how long he or you had been there, no one can report that and there are no proofs to prove how long he or you had been there.. he just wanted to threaten you to leave the map.. thats all.. AND NO ONE OWNS A MAP !!

A) yes its wrong but you can't get in trouble for it.
B) yes its wrong and you can get in trouble if reported.

B is the answer.. My friend got reported for mob training/holding and received a warning from CSR and also GM.. You can get reported for doing that..

map why not share?
ask if there is an aoe.
shout when killing.
3 aoes permap i thin.
party aoe(get it done faster)(more exp if u have a neo class squaire class aco class and app class).
and if all esle fails move to a new map no big deal.....
