Money?

Geez I'm new at these online games and am not very familiar with how you gain money/gold. Can anyone tell me how to do that? I heard you can sell items that the monsters drop or something but....I can't find a buyer xD ?

Also, does any one know of a really good place to level up besides doing quests? Thanks!

Alright my short guide to a newb's life.
1) Make sure you have your weapon equiped. After this is done go outside of Roumen (the starting town) by going up the stairs on the east side of town and following the path until you hit grass covered ground (there will probably still be player shops all around for awhile)

2) Target a monster by either clicking on it, or hitting the tab button on your keyboard. Then you can either click it again to start auto-attacking it or pressing the auto-attack button (default button is 1) After killing the targeted monster you will gain some exp. and there will probably be some items on the ground. To pick these up you can either click them or hit the pick up items button once for each item (the default button for this is 2).

3) when you feel you have enough items and feel like going back to town you may do so.

4) To make money by selling items you have two viable options. 1) Sell them to NPCs. While this may not yield as much money it is much faster sometimes, and other players may not want to buy some of your stuff so this would be the only option. 2) You can set up your own shop like alot of other people, where you can sell as many as 5 items or stacks of items at once. To do this simply hit the "B" button (defualt) and choose sell. When your vendor window opens you get the to choose up to 5 items or stacks of items to sell. To add them to your sell list simply right-click them and another window will pop up. To the left of each money symbol you put how much you want each INDIVIDUAL item to sell for, not the entire stack's price. When finished (don't forget to give your shop a title above the items area) press open shop and wait for somebody to hopefully buy your stuff.



Sorry about the length of the post, and sorry about putting in more than was asked for but I was trying to put everything you might be wondering about in there. Hope it helps!

Edit: About the leveling you basically just have to keep at it. Quests in this game at the beginning give very little exp. but you will want to do them because some give town portal scrolls and equipment so that you don't have to buy them. Also leveling places generally depend on your class. Once I hit lvl 3 cleric i could kill almost anything in the forest of tides, because I could heal.

The best thing to do is try not to sell things to the NPC if you can help it. You can usually buy stuff cheaper and sell it for more with other players. The other thing to do is find out if there's anything you can get that high levels might want. In anarchy online there was this weapon that gave a buff higher level players wanted, but only low levels could get. I made a small fortune selling those things to rich high levels when i was a noob. In world of warcraft swiftthistle herb was needed by high level rogues to make a rogue only potion they use, but you can harvest it when you're low level. I used to sell it on the action house for retarded amounts of money for my level. It's just a matter of finding what works for that game. Almost every game has some trick you can use at low levels to make crazy money. I'm still looking for the fiesta version myself, but if i find it i'll let you know.
