Why does the drop rate for things change when you lvl up?
when I was lvl 10 killing Lil hobs, nearly everytime I get dust or stuff
Now when I'm nearly lnl 18 I only get dust on average every 3 hobs I kill.
Its really hard to make and train stone production skill without dust to make Elrue and lix's
Same goes for exp. I got 8 exp points when lvl 12 or something now I get about 3?
Why is Fiesta like this anyway. Other games like maplestory dont change at all:(

It is so when you become higher lvls and can start taking less hits to kill them you can't just lvl in the same place easily. Same goes for the drop rates, it makes it so you need to move on to actually get much of anything. It is all to balance out the lvls and encourage you to move on to better places.

I mean yea that is a reason but think about the extra Exp needed for each lvl.. i mean its so hard to get low quality dust instead of dim when killing mobs at my lvl...
Btw what do people mean by green, yellow and orange mobs anyway?

I didn't know about that for a long time either. When you click on an enemy, their name on the top of the screen will be in a specific color. Green for lower than you, yellow for equal to you, and orange for greater than you. If they're grey, they're way below you and you won't gain any items from them.

Speaking on drop rates, I noticed that monsters higher up drop the exact same items as you picked up 20 levels below. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but when your income from these items is static and the costs of stones and equipment increases over time, you soon feel a little hard-pressed for cash.

i like the low drop rates and exp.it makes you go out onto the world and fight bigger and better monsters.you cant expect to stay in one place forever.you wont learn anything by doing that.

If you are Lv18 you should be fighting mara pirates for stone materials. they drop their fair share of them

i thk changing drop rate and exp by leveling...
is to prevent high lv player still hanging around low lv place...
if all high lv player just killing slime, mushroom etc...
then there will no place for new player to grind...

so try the monster about ur lv^^

The drop rate decrease (as well as XP) to prevent mass farming from high lvl people, wich would ruin newbies hunting ground, and to guide you toward the next areas.
Mobs always drop the same class of stuffs (stones / potions / scrolls mat), but as you lvl up, you'll slowly see more and more T2 drops.
Nothing prevent you to make a faming mule or 2 tho.

Look at it this way, what if a level 40+ player came into the low area zones and just started slaughtering all the spawns that you're trying to hunt as a level 10. And when you ask them why they're doing this, they reply because they are farming for materials for their skills.

That's why the restrictions are in place.

I myself have played a few online mmorpgs and they all use the same idea. It is also the same in Final Fantasy 11. If you guys are needing items from low level monsters create a mule to lvl up to. But the main idea behind the exp/item drop rates is to keep people moving on in the game and from taking all the fun away from the noobs.
