What is the best thing to do?

I see a lot of hammers and all this but doing some calculations i noticed the mace with an upgrade; for example, my mace is a lv20 +13 and it can do the same amount of damage in total than a hammer.
I was wondering what would be more efficient, a mace or a hammer.

Also what spells are the most important to purchase.

i always run with the mace, and supposibly lv40 mace outweighs the hammer.
for spells, they're all important.
invincibility is a god send (specially after you put a point into duration)
all heal and buff spells
the regen is ok, i dont have it, but im thinking about picking it up.
i dont have the buff to increase poison disease resistance becaue i have the skill that cures that sooo....*shrug*

It increases curse resistance too.

All spells should be bought in the order you feel most important.

Mine being Heal > Endure > Protect > Resist > Invincible > Restore > Cure > Rejuv...

Something around that... I have them all though.

Hammer/Mace is personal preference imo. The DPS is more or less the same in the long run. I like the Mace at level 40 so I went with that. 50 I am undecided, but with a scroll, (measly 75c), you won't miss so that really doesn't factor in.
