Every special event i've 'checked in on', has done nothing but bring my computer to a stop.. maybe not a stop.. but somewhere between a crawl and a stop..
Like framerates of .5FPS (yes.. 1/2)
I'm wondering what kind of computers you people have to be able to move freely through all this chaos?

probably a computer that the computer fairy left under their pillow after they retired their old ones. they place their old PC under their pillow at night and in the morning the computer fairly leaves a new one while they slept -_-

I have 2 2.0ghz processors and 2gb of ram. I still lag. NOt as much as you are describing but enough to screw me up

yeah, i'm low on horsepower (2.66ghz celeron, 2GB Ram, 256MB Radeon 9600), so i know stuff like that is going to happen..
i'm just curious what systems some of you have that can actually HANDLE that kind of mayhem?
