Introduction

Monsters are attacking the inhabitants of Xen and heroes are needed to repel their assault! Our spies have uncovered a plan to invade the continent during the following time period:

4pm to 7pm PST (-8:00 GMT) on Friday, October 19

Recruit Friends and Earn Bonus Experience!

Bring as many friends as you can to the event, because Xen needs all able-bodied adventurers to repel the oncoming assault! Kingdom officials have announced that those who manage to successfully defend the land from all incoming monsters will earn bonus experience and higher item drop rates all weekend.

Below will be a counter showing the number of players logged on during the event. If we hit 2000 players by the end of the Event Period, then the Continent of Xen will receive a 50% increase in experience and drop rates from killing monsters. Thats a total of 150% for the whole weekend!

How to win

- Recruit 2000 new players before the end of the Event period and defeat the monster army

Prizes

- 50% increase in experience and drop rates from killing monsters all weekend

The Next Episode in the SoS Story

Tempest - The Fall

Adeline basked in the adoration of her people and the amazement at being elected guardian of the Solstice Sphere. But as she pondered her newfound power and responsibility, a sinister force threatened to consume her sister Marian.

Some time before the princesses reached their eighteenth birthday, a mysterious and dark power arrived on Xen. Sensing the jealousy in Marian’s heart, it sought her out. Through hidden whispers promising fame, glory, and the adoration she desired but never knew, it gained her trust. The mysterious energy soon took the shape of a man and revealed its name—Alastor. Before long the two gathered regularly in secret meetings where they plotted to get Marian the power and admiration she craved.

As Alastor wooed Marian in secret with visions of the future, his presence began affecting other inhabitants of Xen as well. Tendrils of the dark power changed ordinary forest creatures, making them violent and causing them to lash out against one another in confusion, pain, and malice.

Initially the taint altered a small number of beasts, but their ranks soon grew. Eventually they began attacking nearby villages. Confused and in desperate need of protection, the people of Xen cried out for heroes to defend the land against this newfound evil and learn more about the dark force behind it.
