Shouldn't clerics be able to summon? If they can bring the dead back to life, y can't they bring a monster they killed back to life and use it for a while? Or maybe there should be a spell that absorbs a monsters energy and throws it back double when used. I think clerics are a bit underprivileged because they mostly benefit other ppl, and not themselves.
Sry lemme change a lil something. Y must we clerics be holy all the time. ohh and another thing, there should be a way to revive rselves. it could be a spell that can be casts only every half an hour or something to keep us from gettin overpowered.
I wanna add to those who those who think mages should summon. no they shouldnt. They are masters of the 5 elements, and not life. But it would be cool if one of our classes (mage or cleric) could summon an attack from a monster. Like a fire blast from a dragon.

Because that would be necromancy, which is quite the opposite of a clerics powers. Clerics are holy fighters who use their powers to help others, not to abuse the fallen as slaves; like a lich or necromancer.
Pure summons belong in the realm of elemental or pure magic I believe. Since this game follows high fantasy, Clerics could probably have some form of summon in a holy angel form, although Mages would get one first I think.
A damage shield? Sure, that would be most over-powering. We could just sit there and heal while a mob beat itself to death. if anything, that skill belongs under the Ranger or Mage line as well.
Just my opinion though.

Because that would be blasphemy. We're clerics, not necromancers. Besides, having a pet would make us horribly overpowered.

A damage reflect would be more appropriate for warriors. Mages shouldn't be getting hit in the first place unless something went wrong, so it it wouldn't be doing any significant damage. A damage shield on the other hand would be great for them. It could have a short duration and a long cooldown and offer good protection. It could be their "Oh crap!" button for when their squishy little butts pull too much agro.

Oh that would be sweet though. Ill resummon the Mini Dragon after its killed and have it kill everyone in sight :p Players and Monsters :p

I think it would be more appropate for a Mage to have this ability rather than a Cleric.
Or for it to be another job...

if you want to give clerics appropriate skills, we need:
1. Heal Bombs - It's not a new skill.. you should be able to heal undead creatures and it works like a mage's damage spell on them.. common in lots of RPG's.
2. Stuns - Shield Stun or Weapon Stun.. i don't care.. but we use shields, we're pounding on them with Blunt Weapons.. CLERICS ARE SUPPOSED TO STUN, NOT WARRIORS.
and i'd love a Necro class in the game.. :)

I thought there was a damage shield...available for some-odd ammount of fame and i think the first level absorbs 1050 damage...maybe i'm wrong, maybe thats for a different class.

Simply put.. no, clerics are fine as they are and people already scream that we're 'too powerful'.. but they never scream that when we're playing survivor heal-spam style because the fighter(s) rush a group, and like to spam taunts, changing the tank back and forth. Summons in any form like that would be way too powerful, and unbalance the game to the point where NPCs would have to be uber, and every class would have to be beefed, or they'd be -forced- to A) be a cleric or B) have one in the party.

Again... no. We have invincibility, and that's nice enough as it is. We're not summoner mage hybrids with the uber shields/reflects.. that'd be overkill. The point of the cleric is to be selfless, and help others. That is the mentality a cleric has to have if they ever want to get a party. Playing 'for me' is a good way to have a very long, and distinguished solo career in Fiesta.

Did you take a moment to read the storyline behind Fiesta? We're all beings fighting the evil. Until such time as they wish to implement aligns (if ever, which I oppose as people would just scream "I can't party with my evil friend, and I'm good aligned"), it'd make no sense whatsoever to fight while being evil. That said, you'd have good vs evil PK fests, and it would destroy the creative vision the design team has thoughtfully laid out, I feel.
Reviving yourself? How can one be alive to revive themselves.. if they're dead? A magical cleric spirit wanders out to revive you? <sarcasm> Can I get the cleric armor of invulnerability and the hammer of everything slaying too?</sarcasm>
In all seriousness, I don't feel that any of what you've proposed is remotely close to being feasible in the world of Fiesta, on any level. I am not a Fiesta game developer, but after playing a bit and having a 3x cleric, I feel that my thoughts here do hold some weight in regard to balance.

I'd imagine a cleric should have a stun skill because if i were to be hit by a hammer or something on the head, I'd be very dizzy. Also i dunno how you can revive yourself when you're dead.. you're not conscious and lying on the ground so.. i don't think that's possible o_O
I just thought about it and as a cleric, I'd like to use a bat :]

I think clerics and summoning is just plain wrong.. they should have lots of defensive buffs and stuff.. since their job is to keep the party alive.. so yeah, give the summoning to the Mage class.

It is belong to our class it call invicible.
Back to topic,if we do not own holy who else will?
I would like that cleric that can deal damage on undead monster(it is fair because we use holy power and undead belong to evil)by using heal or whatever.
If you want summon the spirit of the monster you just kill to fight for you,NO!
Thats the way necromancer/lich will do.We are holy fighter why must you torture their soul???
Well i do want a nice ranged spell can be cast by cleric(even is weak is nevermind as long as is range)so that we can pull monster without riskking our own life.

I've only ever seen it in final fantasy and ragnarok. I don't really think it's needed and it would require a ton of work for the developers to go back and add code to all the undead monsters. I'd much rather they work on decent character customization or new content.

This i agree with. Apparently some of our currently useless skills have a stun in the korean version. Why was it removed from ours?

I'd rather they expand on what we already have. we have all the needed roles covered except for possibly a crowd control class or a real debuffing class. I guess i'd agree if the necromancer was going to be mostly a debuffer.
