So GM's are we getting wiped or not? Rumors are flying.

I been wondering are we going to have our charas wiped? yes I know its the usual closed beta pratice. However I have heard from several diffrent people that*one of the*GM's mentioned that we may not be getting our closed beta characters wiped. Would like this get this cleared up by a GM before rumors start to spread like the plague. I really do not see the harm in letting us keep them, its not like there has been any duping bugs and things like that (That I know of anyway.) Would be nice to keep out CB chars into final version when the cash shop comes out. Anyway.. Hope to get this cleared up soonish.

Does anyone think the items that we've earned so far in CB will be wiped along with characters? What about the rewards from the events?

Yeah I was just asking due to rumors i been hearing in game thats all. I've been in tons of betas so I know how it works, I just hope in OB the exp gets changed. or the lv 17 and 20 KQ's work. There is Rage of Mara Pirates KQ you can start at level 17, But when you hit level 20 a level 20+ KQ opens up to, called Adventure on Gold Hill. neither of them work atm though. Most say its due to the contest about people hitting level 20+ in CB.

I don't think they expected us to go much higher than 20. They don't have the KQ's for it and the events pretty much are pointless for anyone above.

ppl its cb every game that has cb the chars get wiped to lessen the chance of bringing in bugged data.

not every closed beta, the characters doesnt get wiped but the items do and stats/levels get rolled to lvl 1 like you just made your character(s)

which also means the characters get wiped... lol... usually when theres a wipe it means every single thing will be wiped.

THERE WILL BE A WIPE.

The GMs don't need to tell us that they're going to do it, rumors or no, we are going to be wiped. Likely, characters will just be rolled back to starting point to avoid name stealing but it's the same thing.


But I think we should get a 'Closed Beta Tester' title to go with it.

*CB is often for work on things such as glitches and testing events on the public also seeing hwo easy or hard it is* to lvl so yeah they might delate they might not cause we been working so hard

Yup, wipe would be the only fair thing. It's the norm for closed betas like every one else said.

Playing Closed beta is a privledge not a right.*We shouldn't complain when there is a character wipe. I'm glad to have tried out closed beta, and I really don't mind at all if I'm lvl 1 again at the start of OB. If you don't like how closed betas are run. I am sure that there are thousands of others willing to take your place.

besides this is pretty much how all games in CB phase works... always a wipe at the end... the only game that didnt have a wipe when CB ended was trickter online. the game had only 1 bug at CB....

Oh I have no problems how they are run, I am expecting a wipe, or a rollback of all chars to level 1 with starter gear (to prevent name stealing of famous players). Or it may be a total wipe. Anyway I 've pretty much stoped playing till OB starts, No point in spending 12 hours a level to grind just to have it wiped soon anyway. To be honest they should make exp like 5x normal for cb so that people can get up high enough to try the higher level things.

Another rumor I heard, that if you make level 20+, you keep your character. It'd explain why they announce the lvl 20+ characters. Not sure about level though.

if theyre doin a wipe, they will wipe every single thing... hence its a wipe... cant leave any data or they might bringing the bugs...


they announce the lvl 20 characters probably coz thats the 1st lvl when u do the job advancement quest.
