Just curious what the community thinks about the whole thing with guilds right now. The whole system is pointless and irrelevant to gameplay, not only that- according to the rules, guild wars represent a paradox:
You can war, just not over anything in particular.
*tries to remember last time there was a war over nothing on Apoline*
We can't use guild wars as a means of coercion, which means if you strongly dissagree with someone, you can't war his or her guild... suppose I war a guild for fun and there happens to be someone in there whom I don't like?
Essentially, so it seems, we're missing some functionality from the game. And I wonder if we will ever see any sort of guild ranking system (academies were a great start), A war system with true stakes (charge tens of golds to declare war- winner gets money + XX%?).
Truly the possibilities are endless, so the question is will we ever see any competitive functionality in guild wars implemented? Or is the entire PvP system for Fiesta wrapped into the PvP KQ & Abyss maps?
Answers & responses welcome. Flaming is good.
