Closing hotkey boxes

I looked through the guide in game and couldnt find any reference to it, i have 3 and only need 1, obviously. how do i close the extras?

click the little button on the right that you used to open the others with. it cycles through them up to 4 then back to 1. Like so 1,2,3,4,1,2 etc.

It is NOT a bug.
