Not In Service Area [Archive]

My only problem is I keep getting "You are not in our service area". Isn't this global? My pc meets all the specs, I have no problem with install or anything....just that message when I try to log in. My firewall(s) wouldn't have anything to do with that would it?

Exact same thing happens to me.. download was smooth, I get into the client fine, but soon as I put in my info and click login, I get "Not in our service area". Ive tried putting in random stuff.. like 3424df and it says the same thing.

Yeh, my friend from England was playing, so it's Global.

My best bet is to restart/redownload? Or maybe just wait. It seems a lot of people are getting the problem.

Just sent support an email..hopefully they can fix this. :( Also, I dont think its the client itself thats the problem, its the server or w/e, so dont think restart/downloading it will work.

I went to the 'other' website and I THOUGHT I saw something saying there were certain areas that weren't going to be able to play......am afraid to go back. lol But I will keep trying and hoping to get in there. Would be cool if someone who knew what is going on could help us all out. :o

It should be leetting you play. Maybe just wait for the next patch if none of that helped.

Maybe they'll resolve the problem? ><

It almost seems like IP's are being blocked or something. That usually happens when they have certain areas of the 'globe' that aren't 'allowed' to participate. (been doing some reading) Although, if it is global, why aren't we able to get in? I got an email telling me to come check out the game so I dunno why I'm having issues. (I just wanna squeeze that lil kitty that pops up on the login screen lol)

If you read a topic in a different section of the forums, you can see some other people are having problems too.

Think I found out a way to fix it, redownload a diffrent client. I did it, logged in, and can play now! :D

Just had that happen, what I did was loaded up the client, logged in, and during the scene I minized it, and clicked the client button again, logged in, and went back. Servers were up then, idk if it works for just me or what..but hopefully it helps (if it wasnt too complicated :confused:).

hey guys in same boat as you :) um... i played for the first 2 days of cb then i couldn't play any more out of service area.... i have redownloaded every client nothing helps i hope they fix this soon...

It's funny how all of these gamengame games have problems. I guess working games are a thing of the past
