To all the 35-49 pvp players

This was done 3/27/09 on Epith at the 04:25 35-49 KQ. And to show I have never purchased any SC for charms, extenders, suits, etc; for all my haters out there. And yes well equipped fighters are overpowered.

Pvp Kq is All About Teams And Luck. Ive seen +9 Less Unscrolled No Sc Win it a couple times. if you dont believe me i really dont care. And There were Some Charmed Fighters This was in 55-69 Pvp Tho.

It's a little hard to confirm that well equipped fighters are overpowered when you have t3 vit, along with a def, m.def, eva, aim, and speed scroll ... all of which are an unknown tier.

Also, it's my belief that you got lucky and got that hammer ... a lot.

My reason for believing such is in the scoreboard itself. The 2nd and 3rd place players are the only ones who got more than 5 kills. So for everybody else who did get kills, they either killed players easier than themselves, or they got the hammer, and lost it after a few seconds.

I'm not saying you used it the entire KQ. But I think you got it for a long portion of the kingdom quest ...for instance, maybe 8 or 9 minutes.

I can't see an axe wielder killing other players within reasonable level range 90 times in 15 minutes. It's not possible. That's one kill every 10 seconds. Even if we split that kill count in half, it's still suspect. One kill every 20 seconds. (If fighters had ranged attacks, then I might consider it fine, but since they don't....)

Anyway, can you explain exactly how the kingdom quest went? Or just give us a general description? Hard to figure out exactly what happened from just the scoreboard alone.

First off, all T3 scrolls except speed and aim, which are t1. Secondly i'm not trying to say i'm the greatest pvper there ever was. I know it's hard to get this many kills within the 15 minute time period. It had to do with a lot of luck and people clumping together fighting one another while i did have the hammer. 3-4 kills in less then 10 seconds. And getting the hammer a lot on the first chest i opened helps too.

It's very seldom that i can get through the entire KQ without someone taking the hammer to me at least once. I won't deny that ya in KQ there is a lot of teaming and truces, where you won't kill another said player. But to assume I made a pact to spam kill 1 player the entire KQ is false. I play just for the fun. Those I have truces with are either real life friends or friends from guild.

Lastly I don't deny fighters are overpowered. KQ they have the best chance to pick up hammer after carrier is killed, since they have to be in close range, and only character that has stun that can stop hammer in it's tracks. My post was mainly to show that I don't charm for those in the 35-49 KQ that claim that i do.

lvl 35-49 kq usually just takes longer to fill up then 75-89 :)

honestly, lvl 35-49 KQ isn't a good example for that, since at that range there is a much larger difference in available skills, as opposed to 55-69 KQ and 75-89 KQ where most of the skills each class can have has been acquired and its just a matter of what lvl the skills are at. Not to mention you are lvl 49 in that KQ, if there were about 8-10 other lvl 47+ people in there, I can guarantee you wouldn't have had it so easy.

lvl 55-69 KQ is a nice way to compare this because all the skills have been acquired that matter after lvl 60 and most of the class differences have smoothed out. It seems pretty balanced, because even my archer was able to win it quite a few times, and he's a non-SC using archer, and I was winning them since lvl 60(not trying to make this a bragging session).

I think the real problem is in the 75-89 KQ, because the whole reason why people think fighters are overpowered now is because of the BK weapons. When the cap was 79, people thought it was the mages that were overpowered, so really its only at 85+ that the fighters are that extremely overpowered.

No I don't want to turn this into an argument about BK weapons, there's plenty of threads on that already. I'm only trying to show that pvp-wise its pretty even with the right builds, some have an advantage over others, and its only lvl 85+ that things aren't so balanced anymore.

I agree with tent the 55-69 KQ is a really good place to see your skills versus other classes. Since most classes get all their main skills at those levels. I enjoyed the 55-69 KQ a lot on my mage. One other thing tho, i know more players tend to start using SC at a higher level as well. I rarely see people in the 35-49 kq with extender for example. I remember on my mage in 55-69 KQ more and more people had SC. And don't get me started on the 75-89 pvp :rolleyes: Anyway I appreciate all those who I have fought and shared time with in 35-49 KQ. Keep bringing on the fights and fun.
