Hi. =]
I'm new to Fiesta, and I want to become a Cleric. I was wondering, should I go Full SPR? Because I want to be a support Cleric, but would it be hard to fight and level up?
Thanks alot. =]

If you want to be a support cleric, go for End, not Spr.
Full-Spr gives you lots of SP, but makes you squishy and gives you no attack. If you're concerned about running out of SP, don't worry. I'm an End-built support cleric. I have SP consumption maxed on Heal and I've never had to use SP pots. I used to NPC them. ^^;

Ok, thanks. =]
But should I go for 2 END and 1 SPR? Or 1 END and 2 SPR?

i don't have high lvl cleric, but maybe 1:1 end:spr would be nice!

After the 25 spr, most clerics went full end.........some went with str, but that's not too good a choice.....stick with +9's.

25spr, Rest END. +9 Shield recommended.

After 25 SPR, there's no point adding more...Just stick to 1:1 END:SPR until you hit 25 SPR.
From personal experience, having tons of SP doesn't help you at all in the end. Your partner will run out of HP and SP stones before you're even halfway done yours. Then they have to leave, and you might as well follow them to refill.
END is the stat you want to focus on.

When people suggest 25 SPR, is the 25 in addition to the base stats, or is the 25 the total of base stats, free stat points you allocate from leveling, and from gear?

Base stats only. Get as much as you want on gear.

Going Rest STR is not that bad. Why do people look down upon us STR clerics? :(

Many reasons, including, but not limited to, many (BUT NOT ALL >.> watch me get flamed for that) Str clerics are so focused on bashing, they never even glance at their party's HP.
Or people find it harder to party with a Str cleric than an End cleric.
Or when killing as a Str cleric, by the time you kill one mob, an End fighter (or an End mage for that matter) has killed 3 or 4 mobs.

25 SPR and rest end. Get high SPR gear and you will be all set. Well most thing have a hard time hurting you (cough and you have a hard time trying to hurt them too)
If you can afford in game find a +9 sheld in level 60. But truth is you really do not need that before the others class get their AOE skill. I have a level 4x mini cleric, she is full support built and she can just use all white +0 and still OK. All her empowerment point are on all her heals.

They have a tendacy of ONLY bashing and using that as an excuse.

Full SPR... my ex-cleric apparently has that build and honestly... it's pretty good with a mace with high base critical rate...
I also used this build against ViVis {Fire and Ice}
I managed to kill them {as a cleric} really well unlike the others...
yes it does make you weak so you have to rely on weapon and armor to suppport your self with strength {don't forget the guild buffies! ;)}
and the more SPR... the more SP... so people would be thinking yo ucan buff while you still can't... trust me {my cleric happens to have 2k SP and people are whispering me ever since I hit 40 and wore a Kite Shield and a Flail...} and I try to keep telling them that I CAN'T buff yet...
one more thing... not a good PvP build... trust me... unless against Mages... you'll have better advantages...
Right now my cleric {with FULL SPR build} has 7.0% critical... and that's her base critical... also with the weapon {usually 5% but working on Goblins ;)} so that's a 12% critical rate WITHOUT any buffs, purple sodas, scrolls or sparkcash items and blues...
so If you do happen to use the build... go ViVi license training when you're bored and make a lot of money off of the Summones Beast Leather they make {Medium Quality for Fire ViVis but rarely drop for Ice ViVis}
that's all...

If you want to be a support cleric go pure End. Clerics dont run out of SP if thats your reason for investing in spirit. The reason you want to be full end is because when you heal your team mates you might pull some of the enemies on to you. You need to be tough enough to absorb hits and heal the players that need healing. Spirit is optional; some players just like having some.

Going Rest STR is not that bad. Why do people look down upon us STR clerics? :(Nothing is wrong with a STR cleric, but the OP said he wanted to be a support cleric so STR probably isn't the stat the he would want.

Yupp true true,I think if you can get +9's if I was you I would just go for full END.Cause you have buffs for SPR and scrolls.But 25 SPR and the rest END is nice too.

Ex-cleric? Why ex?
Also, you're mainly describing a solo cleric. The OP wanted a support cleric, in which case, the SP wouldn't really be needed, nor would the crits. I stand by my post that if s/he wants to be a support cleric, full-Spr isn't the best way to go about it.

Hmmm.....from lvl 1 to 20, put stats on SPR (after promotion, you get 5 bonus stat points.....add that to SPR and that makes 25)
After that, from lvl 20 to 60, put stats on END (after promotion, you get 10 bonus stat points.....add that to END and that makes 50)
These stats give 5% bonus crit (SPR) and 5% Shield Block (END)
Side note: No need to put more than 25 SPR since cleric have decent SP and M.Def
Going Rest STR is not that bad. Why do people look down upon us STR clerics? :(
I'm a half-STR cleric because at that time, I don't know about the crit SPR gives.....also.....I need some STR as I may get impatient on killing Elite mobs
