Staff Or Wand

What do you guys think is better a staff or a wand?

The Wand is much better than the staff, cause the staff has only a higher attackrate from 0.1 (not very important for Mages) and a higher aim... both are not so important.

The Wand is with his higher M.Dmg and higher critical rate a piece of cake:cool:

get the wand, then equip a power scroll.

the staff no longer has any advantage over the wand.

Fiesta releases staff and wand for a cool reason, both are equally strong, and depending on your stats, wad kind of mage you are gets you your eq. respectively. It's same logic as END fighter wears 1 hand sword, while STR figther uses 2 hand weapons(be it axe or sword). I've got 2 ggk weapons left. 1 staff 1 wand. the wand has higher aim compared to to staff thks to the dex bonus. the only thing it lacks is the 0.1 atk rate (really it affects alot, juz try using a row of skills and time them, the difference can go up to 2 seconds)

It all depend on stats.
Statsless, I prefer wand (it look better). But with stats, I'll choose the one with the most int.

Like some people already said, it depends on your build. Are you aiming on doing damage as much as possible on every cast or just.. Just? Good aim with staff sure is one big reason, but I've tried both weps on lvls 30-39 and decided to use the wand.

Btw, you should never choose a weapon just because it looks better. Almost the same thing as woving not to buy the latest weapon for your level just because the old one is more cute. Besides, about the staff looking better.. not really; have you taken a closer look to lvl 30-39 staff, for example? It's horrible. It really is.

The Staff is way better than the wand, because of the simple question " What good is a weapon that hardly hits?"

as level 20, a wand is good, later on, when you find yourself around level 40-50, and possible 60 you'll find that a staff will be doing more damage than a wand because it's hitting more frequently than a wand.

Not really... The level 30 wand looks like something made out of clay, and wasn't properly colored.. I like the staff. The design is cool and all, but that wasn't the reason why I chose it. I felt that hitting more than missing, is better than doing higher damage when I do manage to hit. and The extra critical rate isn't much for me seeing how I have +25 SPR (Along with rings and such and such.)

Do wands really miss that much?

I just turned lvl 20. And I'm not sure which way to go. I have a Full Int Build... I'll do this until I have +25 Int... Then I will go Full SPR.

I'd prefer to go with a wand because It would compliment my stats.... but if it is going to be missing all the time I'm not sure...

Level 45 mage here and i prefer to use the wand. As long as you are fighting in areas close to your level you wont miss much and if you find that you are then you just equip a power scroll. When i party in Uruga or Ancient Elven Woods i actually buy a couple of tier 2 power scrolls and seldom miss. Ultimately it is up to you to decide.

I think it depends on build, if you full spirit wand is better you need wand for crits if you full int staff is better since you want to get the int dmg through as fast as you can and it is slightly faster than wand. Any way I think this becomes important only in the high lvls (40+) so u have allocated lots of free stats and the difference really matters until then wand is probably better in either case. They aren't too different tough, that's why we all disagree hehe.
