I was hoping to start this up, and was looking for feedback from the Fiesta newbies! I was thinking that anyone with a character higher than level 10 could show the neophytes the ropes and help them to a certain level. Not necessarily powerleveling, but just sitting down and helping them, and possibly passing down lower level items and equipment.

Now, to make this as pleasant as possible for everyone, I was thinking of making criteria for the mentors and mentorees. Here's what I have so far (using myself as an example):

Mentors Info:
Level: 20 (as of now)
Class: Cleric
Server: Teva
Preferred party position: Healer/supporter
Alchemy skills: Stone/Composition

Mentoree Criteria:
Class: any!
Newness to MMOS: Doesn't matter. ;)
Generall video game skill: Doesn't matter, agian.
Current level: Preferrably a newly created character, levels 1-5
Literacy level: I need people who capitalise "I," punctuation preferred.

I was also wondering what the standard mentor level should be. I was thinking level 7-15, or perhaps making a "Long term Mentorship" and a "Short term mentorship" with the extremes of the previously mentioned range.

Well, Tell me what you think! =)

hey, I think that is a great, very generous idea! I don't plan to continue playing this game, so I can't help out, but I like the idea and hope it works out ^^ good luck!!!!!!!

I always help people. But I do it more in a way of ask a question in general chat and I'll reply.
If they need more help they should memorize who answered and whisper.

Most newbies don't read the forums anyway.

Doesn't hurt to try! =)

That sounds like fun. Some newbies (not n00bs, newbies) are shy and don't exactly ask for help (that, or they ask rudely) so a mentor program would be nice to have along the way. I'm a newbie here, so it's nice to be able to have someone to fall back on when I need help. Of course, I'd rather not rely on someone else and learn on my own, but sometimes things get overwhelming. Still, a nice thought, non? Good luck with establishing the system. Maybe when I get more experience on Fiesta, I'll join, too. ^^
