View Full Version : Two New Monk Strategies Against Rogues

Thought I'd share these secrets so you guys can adapt to them.

The first strategy is based on the recognition that most (not all, but probably like 94%) rogues are Naruto-obsessed junior high kids. I'd say elementary, based on typing skills, but they sure swear like junior high kids. The trick is to trash talk them just a little bit. They will work feverishly on a response, but since their typing is so slow they will be vulnerable to 3-4 attacks while they stand still trying to bang out incorrect spellings of the word "the." In some cases, the more advanced ones will jump up in a corner in order to type out of the fray. Simply follow them and get 2-3 attacks in instead. This frustrates them and causes them to type more in the next match, giving you more advantages. This can actually be done by any class, but is most fun with monks since they are so cuddly.

The second strategy recognizes that rogues are like vultures. When they see a player with a very low red health meter, they will go out of their way to chase and try to hit that player. Often, several of them will do this at once. Since they will always melee attack you (probably jumping, but possibly dashing) just lead them on and then use counterblow. Rinse and repeat and they will often kill themselves. Of course, the weakness in this plan is that counterblow is kind of slow. If you have lots of lag, just lead them into your mage spamming pile since each team invariably has 75% caster and archers on average.

Enjoy :-)

Wow,this is fail right here.

For one,you can't trash talk in the heat of battle. If you've done this then the
Rogue is the one who is actually winning, because while you're trying to use this
"strategy",his/her team or maybe even him/her will have probably done away with you.

As for the second strategy, you won't even see the skilled rogues dashing you nor use
physical attacks.I myself, get close to the enemy.Hide.Then walk. Then use either Stun+Atk x3+Poison,Assassination,or Stun+Atk x3+Poison+Assassination.If the really skilled rogues use physical attacks,it's probably so they can grab to stun.

Lol I was just watching naruto...but even though I'm in elementary school, my typing rocks ;3 *comes from me spending too much time on these games that forces you to type fast -.-* Yea but thanks for the info. ^^

I just tried it out. It worked.
First strategy got some pretty interesting responses.
Mostly it was along these lines
"***?"
"noob"
"omg, lol, we have a noob here"

Add in "stun/stunner" after I started my throw-> stun combos also.
