Hi first time MMOer help?

well this is my first mmo i am downloading kuz well
it was the first one i found that looked good.
and well i am in the process of dowloading it and was wondering
once i get in if anyone would help me kuz well
i really will have no idea what to do

The Tutorial my friend will guide you up to Level 10, although if you become confused while it's talking about various, well, stuff, just post and chances are someone will answer.
Once you hit level 10 simply fight till your 16, then speak with the job change lass, (You'll find her in the middle of Town, don't worry you'll find you're way around fast)
Here you'll get you're first proper quest, upon finishing the world is you're oyster.
As I said, the game will guide you through the most of this, so you'll be fine, it is designed to help new players after all.
One thing though, if you ever find you have nothing to do, go fight.

To be honest, I don't know.
When I downloaded it I wasn't aware of this "Invite" issue, so I just signed up, downloaded, and went straight on.

Perhaps you can tell me what you have done?

i got to level 16 and i wanna be a magician.

but it said i had to get some pendant thing.
i have like 7 of the 1 piece but cant get the rest T_T

The game will tell you what stats you need to raise, for now just go full Strength, you can change it later.

For all of the classes, you HAVE to have certain stats before you can change. I don't know what they are for any class other than fighter. Maybe someone else can help you out with that... But like Fadigre said, you can change your stats. You have the option of reseting them, allowing you to apply them again in any fashion you like.

As for the pendants, you aren't the only one to have problems with those. That link Fadigre posted should help a lot though.

Okay so i am now a cleric guy.

What attributes do i need.
and how do i lvl skills?

Strength (POW) : affects Attack and WT (weight of portable items)
Intelligence (INT) : affects Magic Attack
Agility (AGI) : affects Attack speed, an Accuracy rate, Critical, and Moving Speed
Mentality (MEN): Affects Accuracy rate, Defense, Magic Defense, and Skill Casting Speed
Stamina (STA) : increases HP
Wisdom (WIS) : determines Magic Defense and MP

As a Mage you'll want to be getting Int, and Wis.
But don't forget that other stats such as Pow for carrying more.

and you don't lvl skills....you have to buy skill books to learn them (so you'd have to buy the skill book for each lvl of the skill)....

I don't know if it'll stay this way in the OB.

Sorry, I'm used to refering to all magic users as Mages :3
Those stats benefit all Magic users ;D
Just to confirm the skills, you do need to gain the Level two Book version.

Unfortunetly, the Level 2 Books are only obtainable from mobs in the Closed Beta, but once you gain it, reach the required level and you can learn it, Huzzah!

Yeah, although not as random as you'd think, you won't find any level 2 Skill Books in the first area. They start dropping past the Mystra areas.
Been playing Halo 3 for the duration of the day :3

Lucky Ball?
Its a Rare Drop off Every Mob, although most people believe its level 20+ Mobs only.

A Mob is a Monster ;o
I hear that mask is from completeing the Labyrinth

The sheep helm comes from completeing the novice Labyrinth. I say it's not really worth it. I hope the prize is better in the OB.
Shir, go further out from the towns or try the sewers in the first town (I always forget the name). Try fighting monsters around the same level and the requirement for the skill book.

It's difficulty really depends on the players and group.
The first few times I ran it, I had a map which made it very easy. I would die very close to the end and everyone could then find it easy enough after that. I'd die because I was in the lead watching the map more then the game, my own fault.
At around 25, I used Rapid Step and pot spammed my way through.

Try to find a good party with at least one healer. With enough potions you should be able to get through. Usually there's a good number of people trying the get through the Laybrinth, just hang around town and someone is bound to be trying it. It might be better to level up a few more levels, but feel free to try it at any time.

They come from Lucky Balls.
It's a random drop from any monster.
