Hello Gamers!

Have any of you been able to tell a curse from a poison from an illness in the game? For example, when I get the Slow Motion thing from a Speedy monster, how do I know what scroll, potion or antidote to use? Every time I get one of those 'handicaps' I try using my cleric to remove it, then I try the antidote, and last I try a scroll, and sometimes none of them work.

Can you point me some place that explains which cure to use on which ailment?

Thanks so much. I'll be out there battling beside you!

Lol, I've actually had problems with that, too. Just be sure to read the antidotes name and description of what it does. Clerics can only remove curse and..something else. Forgot. ><;;

There's a lot of status alliments. x-x

AFAIK, it's only mages that can remove things like Slow, Reduced Critial, etc.

It's a higher level debuff spell they get.

Poison is just that: Poison tier 1, 2, 3, 4, ect ect
Curses change your character blue(red too?) I believe.
And illness is bleeding.

I *think* that is how it goes, but am not positive. This is just on experience since I can Cure myself of poison and bleed, but not the other things.

Realize their are tiers of spells too. Tier 1 and 2 are low grade, then they go up. Some scrolls/potions/spells cannot remove all versions.

Any buff that has "Decrease" on it is a Curse = you can use Debuff from a Mage to remove it..

Any buff that dmg you per sec (ex."Periodic Bleeding") is called Illness/Ailment = you can use a Cure from a cleric to remove it

When your Character turns to green.. that means your Poisoned.. you use an Antidote/Cure from a Cleric to remove it

:D

Yeah, usually effects that cause you to take damage over time are curable by a clerics "Cure" spell, while effects that lower your stats or your ability to perform in any way are cured by a mage's "Dispel".
