where do we get these xen gems to enchance our weapons do we need to buy it or do we get it from fighting monsters

All I know is that mostly everyone has been getting them from events. They may be rare drops who knows..

I think Xen stones only come from events right now. In the OB they should be fully loaded and dropped by monsters. Maybe next week rider will have another Xen stone event.

I don't think so, but many people trade Xen Stones for Yellow Watermelons, if that gives you an idea of the value.
