OK, sooo....here's what's happening.
I originally installed Secret Of The Solstice using Internet Explorer 7.0 and have been playing it with minimal problems up until yesterday.
Today, my dad installed Internet Explorer 8.0 on my computer and now I can't log into the game.
Here's what happens when I try: I open the launcher, and everything loads fine. I enter my login information and hit the Login button, and everything seems to be fine. The launcher disappears and the update window pops up. It checks for update information and then processes the information (though the processing part seems to take a few moments longer than normal now). Then it goes to the part where "Start Initialization..." etc. pops up in the small black rectangular window.....but after "Start Initialization", the client closes and an error message pops up. Every time.
I don't think it's really a coincidence that this started happening right after the new Explorer installation (although I could be wrong). If you could look into this, I'll be glad to provide you with whatever extra information you may need, as I am trying to avoid a time-consuming reinstall like the plague (especially on a boost weekend right after activating a new 30 day 100% boost from the SC store). Please help me out, and thanks in advance for doing so!
