I`m planning on making a cleric, can someone (more likely an acolyte) tell me what`s the best stat to empower?

I don't have much experience in the field of...Acolyting, but from what I do know, you will want a mixture of Wis, and Int...not in that order.
Do some Experimenting and post back with you're findings if you like ;D

well since i'm testing out different builds, i think i've figured out the best for me in terms of acolyting. but you can try out whatever you like.
pure INT build i think is the best. better heals, and more damage. you can always use mp pots to replenish your mp. money is relatively easy to make.
-edit
if you want a little more mp, then try a 2:1 ratio. every 2 INT per 1 WIS. again, not as much damage, but it costs less

Actually, it only costs less after you gain a level, since that's the only time the MP is fully recovered
In my opinion,
Pure INT is a lot better, because without INT, you'll need more MP to kill monsters anyway
For example (Not real numbers, just a random explanation)
If a monster has 2000 HP, and your skill uses 10 MP
With Pure INT: Damage 100 - MP 210
With 2I:1W : Damage 75 - MP 300
You can kill the monster in 20 shots with Pure Int, then use 6-7 MP pots (200 MP)
You can kill the monster in 27 shots with 2:1 build, then use 9 MP pots to heal yourself (270 MP)
2:1 builds means:
- More shots = Longer to kill a monster
- More MP usage = More potions = More money spent
- Or, if you don't use potions = About the same time to regen your MP (Wisdom gives a little MP Regen boost, but you already took longer to kill the monster, so you're still losing)
- More chances of death (A lot of people end up with 1~10 hp when mobbed, so the 20 hp more of your previous heal could save a life)
PS: The 2:1 build and the INT build difference will not be seen in the first 30 levels, you start noticing it later on
Also, If you say that you dislike MP potions spamming, thus getting WIS, then why are you an Acolyte? Our main job is to support other people, and in later dungeons/maps, you will need to learn the MP potions spamming, because healing doesn't wait
Finally, some tests I with the MEN stat
Supposively raises Skill Critical, I tried resetting my Acolyte to pure MEN to see the difference, and I have to admit, I had criticals as often as when I was Pure INT
