A small reward every KQ chest? Is that a bug or not patched?

I have finally reached a disgusting achievement of 10 empty chest IN A ROW, CONSECUTIVELY or whatever you choose to call it...

Was'nt there supposed to be a patch to make sure almost all KQ treasure chests end up with at least some pots?

After tanking like mad and drinking so many pots I get 10 empty chests? It is simply freakingly, outrageously... DISGUSTING.

It's not just Mara's KQ....I had kq mates that also got empty chests during King Slime kq...

Maybe I am just lucky. But, I always wait until AFTER I have been ported out of the KQ and have left the group to open my box. I have yet to get an empty box since the patch. Every one of them has had something in it. That is like 20 out of 20 with atleast one item.

*edit* On more than one occasion I have had people in my group open theirs while still in the KQ and say theirs is empty, only for me to wait and open mine and get 3 or 4 items in mine. Two days ago after a few people said theirs was empty I opened mine to get a green +3 Hammer, a +3 Chest piece, a pair of fighter boots, and 2 lucky elrue :)

Which luckless soul can actually claim to get 10 chests empty in a row? It means this,

mara 1: EMPTY
2::EMPTY
3:EMPTY
4:EMPTY
5:EMPTY
6:EMPTY
7:EMPTY
8:EMPTY
9:EMPTY
10:EMPTY

That's a total of 20 hours spent for nothing, excluding the pots I've used.

I'm not 'whining' because it's just ONE empty box. I'm just rambling how it is possible to still get 10 empty boxes consecutively after that patch which was supposed to give out 'some' rewards every chest

I've tried 3 KQs with that method you have mentioned, tre, but nope, even after I open it when i tele back to Elderine, it's still empty

Yeah, I always open mine after I am teleported out. But to be truthful, I never looked in my inventory right after the "Success" title appears, so i didn't know that there was one while you were still in the KQ. I should look for it this next time.

The last four times I did the Mara KQ I had recieved empty chests.
It made me sad knowing that I ressurected people for almost half an hour and recieved only exp as a reward.
I would have loved even getting pots. >=O

It doesn't matter if you open your chest before or after you leave the KQ. I've gotten an empty chest after leaving the KQ. I've also tried the leave your group before you open it and it still is empty. I agree that you get more empty chests from the Mara KQ.

Chest.. as in what you wear as a shirt or as in what you wear on your upper torso.

NOT a +3 treasure chest as you must have been confused about, but a +3 armored chest/shirt piece.

what level are you? and have you passed the class up quest yet? I had the same problem until I did that.

I continue to receive a lot of empty chests and I've done both of those. I've managed to get FOUR non-empty chests out of doing nearly every Mara/Gold Hill I can since I turned 17. I'm now almost 24 :/ Count in the past four days I've been doing them almost every hour (I was sick and couldn't sleep for long). This bug really needs to be looked into. I've done all the 'tricks' - open it inside the KQ, open it outside the KQ, leave my group, yadda yadda. Nothing.

Granted a chest I did manage to open made me lucky with a +3 chest piece. One of them was 3 HP/SP pots though, which is better than an empty chest but still pretty bland treasure for how many empty chests I get.

Meh. the level 20 chest peice is common. I have one and I'm still using it.

Well I notice that reward that u get from the chests aren't always items.
Sometimes it money and other time it fame points. I notice that when i get an empty chest from the kq, I notice that my fame went up.

Oh I find this amusing alot of people doing Mara KQ have been getting empty chests but I havent gotten a single empty chest in Mara KQ ever xD

are u sure u didnt recieve anything?-iv always recieved at least 5 pots-take note of whats in ur inventory before u open ur box-mainly take note of how many pots u have-coz u probly got 5 pots as well

I've actually received more empty chests from King Slime KQ..
But I think that was before the patch.
I've only gotten ONE empty chest from Mara KQ recently..
I always open my chest AFTER being tele'd back to Elderine..
Most people I see that open theirs while still at the end of the KQ get empty chests..
Maybe it just takes a while to give the items..
I wonder if waiting a while before you open your chest will increase your chance of it not being empty..

Actually, if there was fame being added, it'd say so in your notification. Even if it doesn't, I notice that my fame still stays the same. (I watch my Character stats in case people ask for defense numbers.)

I do get empty chests, more often than not. Maybe 1 in 5 chests have something small in it, with the rest empty.

You need better clerics. I kept a tank up with only rank 3 heal spam for 3 fakes in a row, and he used 0 pots. We only had 7 people left by that time since I was the ONLY cleric in the game and I didn't have rez (and most of the people there were completely idiotic, mages shooting marlone fighters when the tank was miles away, people standing on top of bosses, etc). I only needed 1 sp pot per fight. So yeah, get better clerics :O

RObo KQ chest always gives me pots.. i dunno if it's a bug or i have badluck
