Angels vs. Demons Event: 3/29/2009

Today, we, GM Nekopon, Pandaxtor, Snappo, Tokara and Rayse ran a Angels vs. Demons event. This event was held on every server, spreading the fun to everyone. This event did not require Spark Cash items, just your participation. Each player got to play a side, Angel or Demon. Angels followed the Holy Leaders, Nekopon and Snappo. Demons followed Evil Lords, Pandaxtor and Rayse.

For those that attended this event, we would like to have some feedback on what you thought about how we organized and executed the event. There were many things that were considered: Location, Timing, Players, Prizes, Story, etc.

Suggestions and Constructive criticisms are welcome, please do not flame.

I wasn't not able to attend the first Angels vs. Demon event, but this second one seemed to be better. :D

The choice of the location was clever indeed. However, some high levelers kept killing the lower levels, especially when the prizes started to spawn.

I am proud to say that this was a good event, but I feel that the lower levels were left out, since they kept getting abused by those higher than them. Perhaps in a next event, measures should be taken to accomodate the lower levels--such as level restrictions on the Free Battle Zones, similar to the Christmas event a few months back. ^^

But as fireyair, said nice job OS. :D

Pandaxtor and Rayse i must say you did a great job and played out the parts well. I had a great time at this one. To bad we couldn't have it in a bigger place and have people choose sides and have a true epic battle. But i had a wonderful time.

Note to Rasye: Just cause we are Angels don't mean we are soft. We shall stand last and proud. Your minions are nothing to our great power. :o)

Much thanks to you and everyone who participated, we really tried our best to get people into roles as well and for the most part many people were very excited and joined in. Some screaming "demons shall conquer!" and others "we shall fight to the very end, angels go forward!"

Nekopon also did a great job at getting players to choose the side of good (demons had cookies to lure people in that's why) I applaud her for that because it was only Snappo and Nekopon on the angels side.

I was on the angel's side at the time (ignore the contradiction in sig) and i have to say GM_Rayse got really in touch with his evil side for the event. I lol'd when he was ushering his comrades to attack the mages and archers...

lol, but ya it was a generally fun event where death lurked in every corner. The 20+ Gordon Masters at the end might've been a little overboard though....Now THAT is what I call a train

Aw. I saw this announced like 4 times in game as a noticed but I assumed it was going to be a repeat of the one a couple days earlier and decided to quest instead of go. Sounds like it was really fun but it would have been nice to have had an announcement saying it wasn't the same as the official one.

Also, I'd like to comment on the increased GM activity in Fiesta. It's really nice to see that OutSpark has hired people who really care about the players in game. I'm not saying that previous GMs didn't care (Steam, Dakkon, Snake, Murdock ftw) but before you guys came, OutSpark was a little undermanned and didn't have all this time to interact with us players.

Keep up the good work OutSpark. :D

I was unable to attend the event, but it sounded like alot of fun, maybe if you could have events more offen at differnt times players outside the USA could also participate in these kind of events. ;)
