That depends on what you like to do? My answers to the following questions are ranked. The first class listed is the best for that question. This is just a broad answer to the question. For builds, I suggest checking out the debates on each build in the different class sections.
1. Are you unfamiliar with MMORPGs? Start with a fighter and add your points to End. It's an easy way to get familiar with the gameplay.
2. Do you like to kill stuff? Mage, Archer, Fighter
3. Do you like to help people? Fighter, Cleric (I say fighter because you can Mock and keep mobs off of the party).
4. Do you like to be support, not doing the killing, but helping those who do? Cleric
5. Do you like to kill things FAST, sacrificing your defense? Mage, Archer
6. Do you hate to die? Fighter, Cleric, Archer (to a smaller degree)
7. Do you like to be a lone wolf, not relying on parties or others? Fighter, Archer, Cleric (in the high levels, solo cleric is harder)
8. Do you like to party, to meet people? Cleric, Mage, Archer, Fighter.
That's just an overview.

Fighter:Fighters are for those who dont like to die as much, and like to pvp ALOT.
str/25spr build if you like to kill other players. good for soloing things 1v1(like bosses ect).
end/25spr build or str/end/25spr for more of being a tank if u like to help people.(less populer)
Cleric: cleric are for those who like to help people, and also dont like dying.
str/25spr build for liking to solo alot or pvp
pure end or end/25spr for being support cleric to maximize your helping abilities.
Archer: Damage dealer that does damage over time, good for soloing, natural pullers, fails @ pvp
str/25spr build for being damage dealer
str/50dex/25spr for more balanced build for dealing damage/soloing/pvp
Mage: Damage dealers that do magic damage, very low hp/def, decent @ pvp, fail @ soloing, but pwn in parties, dies alot
int/25spr is good damage dealing build
