Character stats?

Just wondering...

When you put your Skill Points into the skill areas like DEX or SPR, sometimes the skill that you want to improve goes down. Like if your Defense points goes from 83 to 65 just by adding in 4 points to STR and 2 points to DEX (just a random example)...

What types of skills allow other skills get affected? Like does STR affect Defense when points get added to STR goes up or what?

Umm, I have gotten a lot of experience in the game and in the community since I joined the community in 2007 but that doesn't mean I am perfect at every single aspect of the game/community. I still ask questions here and there to learn more about specific things.

And yes, I know about the Stat system but like joecracker said, I'm wondering why it works the way it works...

Stingerdan, exactly what certain skill attributes do down after you add points to what certain skills? I know other skills are affected but specifically which skill does what do what other skill(s)?

Tell me if they look right to you....the Defense used to be in the 80s then it dropped to the 60s after adding points to STR and DEX:

if this is true it means that all hybrid builds suck!
cause when u ad END and STR the STR just takes down the END again...
does str also has affect on your mana/ critical rate?

This happened to me too, exept I went from 25spr rest int, to pure int, and LOST m.damage. I reported this but they basicly said that I "lost a buff" >.> I would have noticed if I left a party or something.
