Alright, a friend of mine sent me an E-mail telling me to check this game out...and as I look through the forums and such while I download the client, I'm guessing I missed a Beta testing of some sort? I don't know what all this means, or if I can still get into the Beta?
I just want to be filled in, you know, caught up on whats happening with "SoS". It looks like a really well developed idea so far, and I'm pretty eager to find out what it turns out to be.

Right now the Closed beta test is going on. The only way in is to get a invite hopefully more will be sent out soon by the GM's the best u can do now is post in the forums alot and hopefully be reconized by the GM's

And whats all this about " Char wipes "? I'm taking a guess, but is it the Characters in the Beta getting erased after the Beta?

Well chances are ( about 98 - 100%) That Characters in the CB are going to be rolled back to lvl 1 or wiped out completely.

Seems fair...not sure people not invited into the Closed Beta would want to start the game out, once its open to everyone, not on the same pace as the people who got into the Beta.

Exactly but there are still people being selfish and not wanting the wipe. Mostly because they forgot what a CB is about.. Testing not leveling

Exactly. I was in the Runescape Beta in '02 and also got into a RS2 Beta in '04. They rolled back as well. But that game is getting smothered by autoers and such, it's no fun anymore.

Outspark has had some trouble with spammers in fiesta but thats about it. You'll see that we've got a good community here

Is Fiesta another game?
I can see so far the Mod's are way better into informing the players as to what's happening. RS Mod's seem to care less about making the game better than making money.

Yep There is Fiesta and SoS and fiesta is in OB so everyone can play you should try it out while waiting for CB to end
