Unable to move after using skills

This is something I've noticed only while playing mages, and only mages.

More than occasionally, after casting spells, I am completely frozen in place for a few seconds - can't run, can't continue casting, etc.

I'm not sure if it's occurring only after one particular skill or not - I've noticed it both on my enchanter and my lowbie mage.

Has anyone else encountered this, or have any idea what can be done about it? Is it a bug? It's rather annoying. :|

ive never seen or heard of this bug before O.o

Ah I know that bug. It happens when you cast a spell on a target and the target dies before your spell hits the target(killed by somebody else).

Yea what martian said happens to everyone. Really sucks when you use dev but someone has already killed it and your stuck there for 5 seconds. Another possible cause is if you hit Tab mid combat and switch targets you get frozen too.

thats never happened to me lol
if a monster/player is killed while im in the middle of spell, it just stops the spell, or animation gets stuck for a sec, my char is still able to move tho

have same problem too, especially when im in PVP KQ :S but last 2 weeks i didnt have this bug anymore...

alicina i think you're talking about the bug when you cant cast any skill and you're stuck if you use a skill with a cast time.

i think what "bug" YamiKaosu is experiencing is the cast animation of the skill, which causes you not to be able to do anything while casting the skill, and sometimes a second after it. it's normal for a mage but if it happens in any other class it wouldnt be...
