pvp is for everyone therefore u can go into pvp and do wut ever u want as a healer~ but healers arent really dmg dealers >.>

Healers are often 'needed' in PvP -- to revive people either from a duel or a massacre, or to heal people that don't want to wait however long it may take to heal themselves, or to just pass out buffs.

Healers (Clerics and especially Preists) can totally kick some butt in PvP too, so, don't tick one off. And if someone sees you attacking a healer...chances are, the whole arena might go after you. xD

Usually when someone's in a duel it is considered "cheating" if either player has a healer healing them, because then it's not fair. It depends on the terms of your duel, that's all. :P

Of course Healers can go to PvP. They aren't the strongest class there is but they are important
when it comes to healing ro reviving if they want to.
I'll admit 85% of my deaths in PvP are caused by a healer. Oblivion and Ghost Steal are mean. T-T;
But it's your choice. Healers should go anywhere they want.

Healers kick uber *** in pvp, honestly. I've dueled most of the archers/rangers in pvp, and the only two I haven't beaten are Cayden and ...Sakura.... Mostly because those two pwn me so fast it's like... zoom. Not that they do...

A skilled healer with the right build can ROCK in PvP. I have 56 wins to prove it, many against players higher in level than me.

As far as being allowed in PvP - absolutely. Most of the time, in fact, healers are very welcome in PvP.

The thing about healers is that it's very difficult for Acolytes to win duels against even people their level, especially if said Acolyte is lower than about 56. The reason for this is that the skills that make healers dangerous in PvP don't become available until later, mostly as an 80+ Cleric (examples: higher level buffs and Spirit, Howling, Cooling Heal, etc.). But with enough time and relentless grinding, and the right advice on what kind of build to use, healers can be nasty (if not seemingly invincible) PvP combatants.

All I can recommend is that you get out there and grind, and stop by PvP every now and then to practice. As messed up a place as PvP can be, there are more often than not at least a few people there willing to either help you out with advice or offer you a good, fair duel.

Two defence and three attack in pvp doesn't do ****. Neither does Howling. Maybe adds another two, three damage.

Really, the three skills that make a healer dangerous are Ghost Steal, Oblivion and self-healing, Minor or Cooling. The most frustrating thing about a healer is at higher levels, they can afford to put points in STA and withstand a lot of damage, then heal it off at minimal cost. Until they hit paladin. Whole different level of annoying with Life Conversion or whatever. Really, they win by using less pots than their opponent.

Only thing I don't really get is the obsession with potless duels. Whatever. o_O

i completly agree with trx, our best allies in pvp are oblivion and ghost steal. DoTs are really usefull in pvp even if they are healables, oblivion doesnt have a long cooldown so u can use it as often as u can (recomended lol). your opponent will get out of curse healing pots quickly and all ur DoTs will b a hell for him/her.

w/e im not good at all at pvp if its not in duo or party ^^!

Duel'ed with .Tommy once a long time ago on templar. Close to 800hp? And cooling heal took care of most of it. So frustrating.

Rage dueled me once, back when I had insane amounts of hp. Although no cooling heal back then. Between his 32 men and my disastrous hp, our duel lasted almost 45 minutes, although it would have ended in my defeat if I didn't have sc mp pots...

I hate curse pots. With a passion. Without curses, healers are little squishy pillows...

<3 curse pots. All the curses are healed (most of healer's deadly skills)

When duel with healers always bring lots of curse potions and mp pots, no need for hp pots ( this is how templars duel healers :D)

For other classes maybe hp needed XD

Healers are most definitely welcome to PvP, with low HP or def.
Like TRX had mentioned, Oblivion, Ghost Steal and Self-Healing get very annoying.
Healers most powerful skills are those two DoT's.
They can't spam as fast as Archers or Rogues etc.
The Curse Pots in the general item shop help out a lot in " no pot " duels against healers.
Nothing personal, but 56 wins is.. Eh.
I'm a huge PvP addict, I have over 1500+ wins and over like 800 loses.
All classes/levels are welcome to PvP.
Even though it's rough out there with the high levels, It's for fun and to learn new techniques for when you get high enough to stand your ground in PvP.

They might not be able to spam skills as fast as archers/rogues blah blah blah, but once they get high enough, the heal cancels out the speed. x3

Spirit + amp + ghost = uber pwnage.

It isn't really the pots that the healers are afraid of and make them ask for potless duels, it's the curse elixers. There's almost no point in attacking if the opponent has some. All you can really do is keep cursing them and hope they run out.

Healers are awesome i pvp they can kill everything. Especially if they have good def. Likie my friend SoReal with 220 def. And about 520hp. Takes a while to die that way. Its pretty funny actually. Self-healing SUCKS though. Makes it almost impossible to 1-hit kill a Healer. Most Clerics dont got good def though so it makes it a little eaiser.

I'd like to point out that def doesn't really matter in pvp. Well more like it's not as huge.

And 520 hp isn't much. 2 hits from a high leveled ranger, he's dead.

ya, its hard to kill ppl as a healer, takes forever. We just dont hurt enough fast enough. Plus sins are hard because the dodge therefore making our moves sorta useless o,O i hate wen spirit fails
