Spamm? Or scream at spammers

I love wind slayer pvp^^. And with the 2nd classes out it's even better, or even worse for some of you as I've been reading. Which brings me to my main point... spamming. What makes spamming so bad? Some of you people speak as if it is worse than murder to spam. All spamming is, is mashing buttons. It doesn't take much skill, as all of you have said, so it should be easy to counter, no? But then, some of you say, spammers stay in a group and mob. However, i really don't see the really good players complaining about spamming (unless a spammer says, "OMG WHAT A NOOB!", after being killed) because the really good players kill spammers and rack up rep points. Of course, everybody has own opinion on this subject. Okay, guys, please do not take precious time out of your pvp game to say "OMG, SO AND SO SPAMS SO MUCH!!!". This doesn't do anything for you, all it does is make the chat box cluttered with insults. And you could cause your team to lose if you get killed while typing. If somebody who spams, brags about his rank and place that game, i guess you can call him out or something. I don't think bragging is polite anyways, but the occasional "That was cool!" isn't so bad. Well, it's bedtime for the lazy kid. Byes~

Yea......I kinda quit complaining about spammers a long time ago...They are still just as annoying, but it's pointless to argue with a spamming noob. All you can really do is chase them forever in pvp until they leave. :D And it's sooooo funny when they call YOU the noob after you've chased them down for 5th time.

Funny spammers story:

Ok...So I was on my archer in a pvp room and I saw this noob mage with like no gears....And the funny part was that he was ALWAYS behind someone. If he got separated from someone's butt he would run away until he latched himself behind someone again. Then he'd start jamming those buttons. So, I was getting kinda fed-up with the noobiness, so I went over, chased him, and killed him. Then he started yelling at me because I was something like a "noob chaser" or whatever the heck he said.

Some classes "spam" because that is how they are built. They stay on the ground and use ranged attacks, time combos and run, rinse, repeat. Mages and priests don't really have air attacks and it's not usually all that smart for them to tango up close with a melee type. Aside from the jump shot, archers all have ground attacks too.

It's a strategy. A viable strategy that plays to the strength of the classes. It's annoying yes, but that's mostly because the active PvP player counts appear to be heavily skewed towards the ranged attack classes (my current pet issue :-P) so they just clump up and fire at staggered times with their backs to a wall or something.

Most of the people who complain about spamming are the same idiots who jump into a pit of four mages with no buddies around and get nuked without being able to move ever again. Don't do that. That's what makes you frustrated. Wait until the most rank-obsessed guy in the group comes chasing you, gang him and then spawn kill him. The buddies will show up all dis-organized and you can just brutalize them.

I dont call just anyone a spammer. I mean people who will stand in the same spot throughout the whole match jamming their magic button behind some poor warrior. -.- And actually, I nailed a high lvl, high ranked berserker with my lvl 14 priest once 1v1....
