what makes them stand out?

End is the shorten word for endurance.

As a stat it increases Max Hp and defense.
Then if you add to it with your free stats you also get some thing related to shield defense plus the previously stated.
(Or something like that.)

END is short for endurance, its the stat that will raise your defence and HP.

Fighter specialized as tank (or meatshield) will put many of its free stat point into END.

Full End axe is ok. It balances it out.

I am a full end 1h/shield and i can solo with 100xp a kill and it takes a while to kill me lol.

BUT

I have +133 in stats WIthout My lvling stats. I have really good armor is all. I try to only buy green armor no matter the cost.

Go full end. Axe or 2h swords works well.
